Design Nails spa

I love coming to design nails spa. These girls are amazing and put time and effort into everything they do. They’re kind and always aim for perfection! I love my nails so much. They’re Naruto theme. And she painted surprisingly fast. My hands are stubborn sometimes and I’m a very awkward person. I kept accidentally poking her and she was so nice about it but I still feel bad. Thank you lovely ladies!’ You did amazing!!! They look exactly how I wanted and I’ve already gotten a bunch of compliments after one day. :)

I have always had bad experiences when I get my nails done. In the past, I always left the salon disappointed and feeling like I wasted my money. I went to this salon for the first time yesterday, and actually loved my nails for the first time. They are so pretty and the nail tech really took her time. The inside of the salon is also very clean and comfortable. Thank you Design Nails for a great experience!

DO NOT GO HERE — especially for important events. We booked this salon for my best friend’s wedding, and it was such a terrible experience that it left the bride in tears. Weeks in advance, I came in person to confirm they could do a specific nail design that was very meaningful to the bride. They assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. But on the day of the appointment — even though we had booked ahead — they took forever to even get started. By the time they finally began the bride’s nails, it was close to closing time. It felt like they were trying to rush her out the door and push her into a simpler design just so they could leave on time. While I always support workers getting to go home on time, a bride deserves to feel prioritized on her wedding day — especially when she booked in advance and communicated everything clearly. If they weren’t actually able to accommodate her design or the time it would take, they should have been honest at the time of booking. The bride had to keep advocating for herself while they questioned her choices nail by nail. It took her mom stepping in to finally get them to do what we originally asked and were paying for. Even then, the experience left the bride crying in the car, second-guessing the design that meant so much to her — even though it came out beautiful in the end. To top it off, my own gel manicure was rushed and sloppy, with bubbles and gel all over my cuticles. I used to like this place, but after this experience, I’ll never go back — and I would never recommend it to anyone, especially for something as important as a wedding.

I love my girls at design nails. They are absolutely phenomenal in every way possible. They are absolutely stellar and are so kind, funny, and our super understanding. I have known Trang For a long time, and she has been one of the best nail tech I’ve ever had!

I recently visited for a pedicure and had a concerning experience. Despite specifically instructing the technician to avoid cutting or gouging the sides of my nails due to sensitivity and risk of ingrown nails, she accidentally cut a large chunk out of one nail while trying to file it. I had asked her just to file the front part of it as it was sharp. But instead, she used the clippers and cut the chunk, making it uneven. As a nurse who's on my feet all day, I need well-done nails to prevent discomfort. The technician attempted to fix the issue with acrylic, but I'm worried about the nail's longevity. I requested a discount due to the subpar service, which wasn't offered until I asked. To make matters worse, I didn't receive the full deluxe pedicure I paid for, including the scrub and exfoliation. The manager's claim that my nail was brittle and prone to breaking was inaccurate - I know the difference as a healthcare professional. Due to this experience, I won’t be returning.
