Aria Nails

I showed an image of a French fade and asked for two snowflakes. I received French tips instead, which would have been fine if they were done well, but they are not (see images attached). These were supposed to be my nails for the holidays and a work party tonight. I’m not impressed with the quality of work, especially given the time and price (1 hour 40 min and $94). The price was communicated to me before we started and I agreed, but the quality just isn’t there.

This was my first time at aria nails and it was a special treat as these were my nails for my engagement. Unfortunately, they were not able to replicate the wavy chrome pinky and thumb. We tried 2 times to get it like the photos but I don’t think the lady paid attention to the matching waves in the nails. The nails were all different designs and directions and it looked very messy and not like the photos. I felt awful speaking up but it looked really rough and was giving me anxiety. They did take them off and do the French tips which looked much better. At this point they were rushing and the lady who was originally doing my nails got up and left without saying anything. There was also a bunch of the staff hanging around while I was getting my nails done which made me feel more uncomfortable speaking up. Also I couldn’t understand what they were talking about which made me nervous and no one talked to me while I was there. I was worried I frustrated them. Another staff member took over although I would have appreciated the other lady finishing up the stars on my nails as they do look different. They didn’t properly clean the chrome glitter off my nails and painted clear coat over them so now there is random spots of glitter on my nails. They also didn’t clean up under my nails properly and I have left over chrome from the first chrome nails. Unfortunately not even 1 full day at the gold on the rhinestones already started coming off! While they were filing and rushing they took off some of my French tip paint on my right thumb and some of the chrome on my left and right middle finger. My left middle finger and pinky is crooked as well. I did contact Aria nails prior and spoke with the manager, sent a photo, and they said they could replicate the nails. I didn’t see all the flaws till I got home and looked at them more thoroughly. Personally I don’t think this was 147$ quality after everything. I did tip additionally to the 147$ though because I knew the staff member who was doing my nails took awhile and tried her best and I appreciate that. I also left feeling like I was an inconvenience even though now realize I am a paying customer and I should leave happy and feel like it was a fair exchange.However, I don’t think I’ll be back in the future. Really disappointed in my nails, the price for the quality, the rushing and switching of staff during the nail art.

I’ve been going to Aria Nails for almost a year now and always have Tracey doing my nails. She’s absolutely amazing with each set done with the utmost care to detail and satisfaction. Aria Nails provides a nice environment and is run by a spectacular group of women! As always, customer service runs smoothly on the respect given by the customer and in return given back by the service. So, be kind and just have fun! (:

Very friendly, and did a good job creating a style like the reference photo I chose. My fiancée and I got matching sets and we are both very happy.

I started coming to Aria after a bad experience with my old salon, and safe to say I’ve never had a bad experience in the past 2 years I’ve been coming here! Highly recommend Tracey or Nellie as they’re the techs who made me fall in love with this salon, but regardless of who you see, the staff are incredibly kind and go above and beyond to make sure I’m satisfied with my nails. They pay close attention to detail and selecting the right colour, they’re the reason I always get compliments on my nails 🥹 will never stop coming here!!
