Kim Studio Nails

Absolutely love Kim Studio Nails! It may be a small space, but it’s always clean, cozy, and so welcoming. The team is incredibly friendly—every single person there makes you feel right at home. They consistently do perfect work on my nails every time, no matter what style or design I ask for. There’s sometimes a short wait, even with an appointment, but it’s never long—and honestly, I don’t mind it. It gives me a chance to relax and decide exactly what I want to do with my nails. It’s the only nail studio I’ve ever consistently returned to, and that says everything. Truly a hidden gem with amazing people and top-notch service!

I’ve been a chronic nail bitter all my life. A couple years ago I decided to try acrylics to prevent chewing my fingers. I first tried getting acrylics + gel manicure at a different salon in the neighborhood and one of the acrylics popped off after a couple weeks. Decided to try Kim’s to get it fixed. For nearly two years now I’ve been getting my nails done at Kim’s (acrylics with gel manicure, sometimes just gel manicures), and I can honestly say it’s changed my life. I’ve had my nails done elsewhere since and I will only get my nails done at Kim’s. I’ve had my nails done by every single one of the nail techs at Kim’s and they are all fantastic, so much so I don’t ask for a specific tech. In two years, I’ve never once had paint chip or peal or an acrylic pop off from work at Kim’s. Their prices are very affordable, their website makes it super easy to book an appointment (I recommend booking an appointment rather than drop-in since they are popular because they run such a good business), their services are expedient but never rushed. A couple months ago I thought I’d try to do my own gel nails - ordered all the supplies including multiple UV lights, base and top coats, etc. And multiple DIY attempts resulted in pealing after a couple days. Learned my lesson - let the wonderful experts at Kim’s do their job and take care of you. I highly, highly recommend Kim’s. And remember to tip your nail tech : )

Kim does the best nails I have ever had. I get acrylic and I have tried probably 6 or 7 nail salons it may be OK or even great the first time (sometimes terrible) but no consistency. Kim nails it EVERY TIME!!! I moved way south seattle and will still sit through traffic to get my nails done every 3 weeks. She's super fast and it's perfect every time. I think that there are so many nail salons and I dont see a lot of pride in their work but Kim makes it right every time and absolutely cares!!!

Thi really is THAT GIRL. Her chrome work is perfect. I’m literally devastated I am moving because I will miss her! - Gel X, acrylic fill, Sharp almond / short stiletto, Chromes. 🔥

Came in asking to have my acrylics removed and said I didn’t have an appointment. I was very appreciative that they serviced me right away, even though I could tell they were booked and busy! Paid $40 (in cash, excluding tip) for the acrylic removal + new gel set. Giving 4/5 stars because my newly painted gel nails started to crack less than two days later :( the cracks aren’t noticeable to others, just me. Maybe it was the polish I chose. They also seemed like they rushed my appointment, even though I said I was happy to just do the nail removal and/or come back later. Overall, would come again but with an appointment!
