I saw Mary Jackson and had my color done . She made me feel amazing. The best I have ever had . I had foil highlights all over and the job she did was fast and flawless. She made me feel comfortable and at home . My eyebrows and feet were also done and being disabled it’s easier to stay to myself. These kind and beautiful women made me feel like I belonged and didn’t hesitate to hold my hand when I needed it.

Now two weeks after my daughter's beautiful wedding, I sit reflecting on all the people who made her day so perfect. Estella and Mary, from Retreat Salon & Spa made us all feel so special. They did a fabulous job on everyone's hair and makeup. They were a delight to have as part of our day, and I cannot recommend their exceptional service enough.

My friend and I went to get our nails done at the Retreat. This was a 4 o’clock reservation that we were very excited about. This was a disappointing experience. The girls were very distracted, made us feel rushed and did a poor job on our nails. My cuticles were not touched, the color smeared, and I did not feel like a priority. The woman who did my manicure stood the whole time and kept leaving the room. It was really unfortunate. We work hard for our money and it really sucked to have had a poor experience and to be let down. I would not recommend going here.. it felt like a waste of time, energy, resources and finances. I went home and gave myself a manicure… bummed!

This was my first time visiting this salon. I showed Mary what I wanted and she nailed it. I haven’t loved my hair this much in so long! Will definitely be going back. Thank you, Mary!

Bought a gift certificate for $150. The intended recipient suffered unforeseen tragic events and could not use it at all. So I emailed 3 different times with no reply. Called to plead with the manager to have a heart and allow me to receive a refund (it had been 8 months since purchase) since it was impossible for the recipient to come in. After spilling details of our tragic events I got a “No! I’m sorry.” And my call ended. I was offended, hurt and pissed. I let some time pass and called again WEEKS later to beg one more time. The lady who answered took my detailed message - tragedy and all, said the manager was with a customer and would call me as soon as she was done. NOTHING! Wasn’t shocked. Especially after reading their deposit and cancellation notice. Even if I were to get my “monthly visitor” the morning of my waxing appointment date - not allowing me to give 24 hour notice I’d lose my $50 deposit, which is MANDATORY for all spa services over $20. NO WHERE on the gift certificate page on their website does it state “No refunds on gift certificates”! Not even on the tiny writing on my printed certificate or my printed receipt. I live stateS away. I cannot use this for myself. I simply wanted kindness and consideration. I got neither! And they got $150 for nothing. Still want a refund!
