Vin Nails, LLC

I’ve been coming here for 5 years since I moved to Virginia. I found it because I lived near by but now I live in newport news and will still drive 30 minutes to get here because I haven’t found any other salon that has the same quality service and good prices. I never leave feeling like the money wasn’t well spent! The ladies are all so nice and friendly too, they make you feel like family.

Vin Nail Salon has been my go to nail spot since moving to Hampton. I get the opal French tips and I’m obsessed- they’re the perfect mix of classy and unique. The staff are all so friendly and know most customers by name. Pricing is fair as well.

So, I had to go out of town for a celebration and needed to get my nails and feet done. Looking for some place new, I reached out to Vin Nails, around 12pm. They said they could get me in at 2:30pm for my "fill-in," but they could do my feet now. I live about 5 minutes away, so I was like, SURE. I got there around 13min later, and sure,'nuff, they got me in within 2 minutes of arriving. They did a great job on my feet! I had to wait a little while for my nails, which - they did tell me in advance. It was cool because it extended my "back massage time," which I really needed, lol. Kat, took me for the hands and I can't remember the name of the lady who did my feet (should've did the review same day, so I wouldn't have forgotten)...if I remember, I'll update. As you can see, Kat did a GREAT job! My only issue is that they assumed that I wanted gel-nails.....honestly, I've had gel nails before, I just never paid for it myself. In the end, I asked for the price and was quoted $65. That was a bit steep, but OKAY. Went to the register, and it was $110. I was like, WOOOOOW! But within a few moments, I understood that when she said, "altogether it would be $65" she was referring to my nails (design, length, + cost of gel polish). I did get gel polish on my feet as well. I had to be in Portsmouth in an hour for a hair appointment, by time I was all done... so getting gel worked out better as far as time. Had I known that it would have cost that much, I would have just went with my feet and scheduled another day for my nails, WITHOUT the gel polish lol. Outside of that, it was a pleasant experience. The ladies and one gentleman were really nice and welcoming, the atmosphere was nice and the service was great. I'll definitely go back again....exactly when, uhhhh, let's see what my purse says lol. A bit pricey, as some of the other reviews have stated, buy their work and atmosphere is worth it, in my humble opinion.

I’ve had both a pedicure and manicure here. Everyone is always friendly and professional and my nails look great! This place is a hidden gem.

I don’t typically write reviews but I had such a great first time experience at Vin nails. XL was very detailed and took her time on my nails, she made sure I was happy with her work. I definitely will be back. I highly recommend XL she is so sweet and talented!
