Beyond Spa

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I went in for a much needed spa day and got a sitter for my young daughter so that I could have some time to myself. The massage I got was fine, but not great. I then had a facial and a “head spa” treatment. The facial was fine, not great. The head spa was absolutely HORRIBLE. The woman (I won’t name her) put tons of product in my hair and ripped out tons of my hair brushing it. I told her at least 3 times that it hurt and asked if she was ripping out my hair, which she said she wasn’t and that she would “go softer”. She didn’t go softer. She was indeed ripping out my hair. I’ve attached photos of my hair loss (I have super fine thin hair) from after I took a shower to get the pound of product out of my hair. This doesn’t include the clumps that came out on the shower. It is not at all normal loss for me. I contacted the spa and told them about my experience and they said that the girl that did the treatment wasn’t trained and did it completely incorrectly. She wasn’t even supposed to brush the product through my hair. They did offer me a refund for just that service, which I thought was a bit unfair because it ruined my entire experience. I went home and cried about my hair because I’ve been working so hard to regrow it after postpartum hair loss. I personally felt like they should’ve just refunded my entire trip to their spa. They offered me an 80 minute massage for the price of a 50 minute, but there was no way I was gonna go back to the spa after what happened to me. I will absolutely not be going back. Do not recommend.

I’ve been here several times but not in a while. The place is showing wear and tear in the common area carpets, they appear very dirty and worn out. The massage therapist wasn’t well trained or extremely tired, it was a let down. The massage table was worn and creaked. I paid for 50 minutes and was in and out, I thought I was paying for 50 minutes of actual hands on massage-not the case. Overall it wasn’t a good experience.

This experience under delivered in many ways. Massage was okay, so still gets 2 stars. Still had to go home and file and clip my own toe nails after the pedicure. Big price tag with entry level service.

Beyond is the best around! They are always so welcoming and fun to chat with and they give the best pedis! I love the atmosphere and try to go as often as I can to get my toes done or enjoy a massage. I will always recommend Beyond for any and all spa treatments!

I received an incredible massage from Brittany and can’t say enough good things about it. I did not know how tense my body was and how much pain I was in until after the massage. I told Brittany to do her thing, I wanted relaxing and medium pressure and she absolutely nailed it! The added reflexology and knowledge on that helped so so much as well as she got so many knots out that I did not know existed until I stood up and realized my body feels like a cloud now. Brittany, I owe you my life! Incredible.
