MILAN nail & spa

I am not one to leave reviews often but this experience deserves one. I hope nobody else spends their hard earned money on this establishment. I went in to get my nails done before a wedding event. Chelsea suggested I do dip powder instead of acrylic because it is better for your nails. I asked if they are as durable due to my nails being easily susceptible to lifting. She assured me she gives a 2 week warranty on her nails and that if any were broken or messed up I could go in and have them fixed. 1 week after I got my nails done, 1 broken in half, and 2 were lifting. I went back to have them fixed, and Chelsea explained with dip they cannot be “filled” she offered to fix the broken one but since multiple were also lifting, I opted to get a new set so that they would HOPEFULLY last longer. I paid full price for the new set and went on my way. One day after getting them redone and being told I got my cuticles cut for free (which I didn’t ask for and it takes 5 seconds) I called back asking to be refunded since clearly these nails were not going to work for me. I was told to go back in (Milan is a 45 minute drive from my house) to get it fixed. I explained that I preferred a refund on the nails I just paid for yesterday rather than spending more time and gas money to go have it fixed for it to again break. After asking very nicely and trying to work with Chelsea, she called me and was extremely rude on the phone and said if everyone was like me she wouldn’t have a job. Even though I spend my hard earned money to pay over 50$ to have my nails done for a little more than a day I would expect. Extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism and client care.

I’ve gotten my nails done by UT 3 times now and they’ve come out amazing every time! She’s very welcoming and friendly and she wants to make sure you leave with something you love. She has no problem re-doing or fixing anything if you ask. She’s also quick - takes under an hour.

The Best! Chelsea (manager) and UT are the friendliest and most patient nail techs ever! UT does great designs for my college aged daughter. We just had mani/pedis yesterday. The work is always top notch, and they greet everyone with a smile and even a hug! We look forward to seeing them when we get our nails done. Check them out, you'll be a returning customer, for sure!

I got my nails done by Chelsea and I am obsessed with the outcome! The service here was great and so was the final product. I would definitely recommend! 👍

I wanted to give it a try because it is really close to home but I won’t be back. I was a walk in and asked for regular manicure, I waited around 10 min (not bad). For starters I didn’t like how she cleaned my cuticle and the sides of the nails; she seemed to be in a hurry and didn’t do a good job. The lady doing my nails may have bad vision, to the point she had to redo one of the nails and it ended up worse, when she filed the nails they were not smooth so with the nail polish you can see the edge was not clean/smooth (again she was in a hurry). It took forever to dry due to the mess she created. My nails started to chip the same day, so, overall I didn’t like it and won’t recommend.
