Frenchies Modern Nail Care New Braunfels

Kaelynn and the shop are AMAZING! I had to stop going to my old shop after the fumes became overwhelming. I am dealing with cancer and needed to find a new place and my physical therapist recommended Frenchies. My builder manicure was perfect and my nails actually look like they used to pre chemo and radiation. Can’t wait to host a party there when my family comes to visit! UPDATE after 3 visits!! I LOVE how strong my nails are and how long they last! I swim daily and the builder gel polish stays on! Also Kaelynn is so meticulous! Update - she used builder gel to grow out my very weak and short nails. Unlike regular gel nails that left my nail weak, this kept them strong! Now all my healthy strong nails with gel polish!! I highly recommend both Frenchies and especially Kaelynn!💙

Breanna gave me the most awesome mani with vinylux polish!! She did a great job and my nails look fantastic. They’re recovering from decades of drills, acrylics, gels and dips. I’m a Frenchies Fan!! I’m bringing my mom next time!! I’m planning to try the Dazzle Dry polish next time since I’ll be out of town for over a week at Thanksgiving. Love Frenchies!

This was my first visit. I decided I wanted to have a mani and pedi because I hadn’t done professional in over 5 years. I went with gel for both because I am hoping it will last at least 2 weeks. I picked the color because it is festive for winter but could transition into the new year. I was impressed with all the little extras included from the beverages to the warm neck pillow. Fun fact: I let the computer pick my nail stylist and it turns out she was my student over a decade ago. So the conversation flowed very easily. I already booked my next appointment.

I got the $100 manicure with healthy extensions, which involved plastic fake nails being glued onto my existing nails using UV. The nail sizes were not customized to my fingers, so my ring finger and first two fingers are all the same size, which looks strange. (When doing press-on nails myself at home every nail is sized to the finger and looks better) After gluing and polishing the fake nails on, lavender lotion was rubbed onto my hands and forearms, leaving me greasy and unable to grip anything so I washed it off. The overall experience, while detailed and neat, didn’t feel luxurious.

Samantha is awesome. She did a fabulous Gel Shield manicure (builder gel) for me with tiger eye polish. She treated me very kindly with respect. She educated me on my service so that way I know when to return for a rebuild. See you in 3 weeks Thank you Samantha. May God continue to bless her and her craft.
