Posh Nail Spa - Augusta Hwy

As always my girl Ellen did an amazing job. I always tell her or give her a few picture examples of what I want and then let her do her own version. Two weeks ago I wanted girly pop Sally/Scarecrow vibes.. and Today I wanted chili pepper nails. She made it happen! These last two sets have been some of my favorite!

LOVE this salon! I've been going routinely every 2-3 weeks for two years now and typically see Brian (or Ben if he is unavailable). I'm consistently treated with kindness and no matter what design I request it is executed perfectly. I'm always getting complimented on my nails and always recommend people visit this salon.

Do yourself a favor and find another nail salon. Went in yesterday for a fill in on a fresh full set I got 2 weeks ago. Waited over 45 minutes to be acknowledged for an appointment I had pre booked for 2:30 with Bobby. After waiting, I was greeted by a girl who said she was going to remove the color from my preexisting acrylics, so that Bobby can finish the fill in once he’s not busy. After filing the color off, she proceeded to start laughing and began ripping the acrylic tips off of my natural nails. She jammed a plastic nail tip between the acrylic and my natural nails, which was incredibly painful. When I asked what she was doing, she said that she was “removing the tips because I was going to get a full set due to the acrylic lifting”. I confronted her and said that I was there to get a fill in, not a full set, I especially was not there to get my nails painfully ripped off. She told me that I needed a fresh set because they were lifting and that the fill in would not stick (the nails had normal lifting which only required a file down on the edges by my cuticle). She left my nails with rings of fire and then proceeded to tell me that I was “lucky she wasn’t charging me for the nail removal”, and that all I had to pay for was a fresh full set, which obviously is more expensive than a fill in. The workers there ruined my natural nails, then expected me to pay more for a service that I didn’t even want. Not to mention, they were all extremely rude (not Bobby, he was the only one who was kind). All they were interested in was ripping people off. That was my second time visiting after the establishment was bought out by a new owner, and it was certainly my last.

Do yourself a favor and avoid booking with Ellen. She completely ruined my manicure. Every time I tried to check the progress, she’d either tell me to put my hand under the light or take it away to do something else. The result was lumpy, and the almond shape was awful. My 10 year old could do better. My right ring finger was so messed up that when I asked her to fix it, she acted like it was a major inconvenience. I requested regular polish on my toes, and she practically refused. When it came time to pay, she didn’t even tell me the price just swiped my card and handed me the receipt. I would not recommend this place. I had to go straight to Bellas nail salon and had an amazing tech fix this mess. She felt embarrassed that a nail tech could do this bad of a job.

It's a very nice and modern place with all necessary equipment. Wide space, relaxing music, arm-chair with massage. Very polite and high qualified stuff. My best recommendations to this place! ❤️
