Garden City Nail Spa

I booked a gel manicure, acrylic set, and asked for a jellyfish design. I’ve been dealing with dry skin postpartum and thought the discomfort I was feeling during the filing was due to that. However, driving home I noticed my fingers were bleeding and stinging. During the appointment, my technician cut me on 5 fingers and took skin from the side of them. It’s been a few hours and they’re now swollen and angry looking. I understand a knick here or there is expected but this is excessive and uncomfortable. I’ve never experienced this before. I paid $123 total and tipped $60. I understand a service facing job is not easy and was appreciative of the time/effort. Now, I regret not noticing or saying anything before I left - I was rushing to pump in the car and get home to my baby, and expected the discomfort to fade instead of progress. Overall, the space was clean and relaxing. My pedicure came out fantastic. But I will not be back because of this.

Got a dip manicure with Ken and he did an awesome job! Removed the crusty old dip I had on there from another salon and was incredibly careful and meticulous about getting the design I wanted right. I rarely get manicures and this is only my second time ever getting dip so it’s a big splurge and no small thing for me to invest the time and money into getting my nails done. Friendly, attentive, clean, and stylish. What more could you want! 💅💅💅

The manicure was gorgeous but did not past. Got them done on Tuesday and this is them after 3 days. The appointment was long, got in at 1245, seated at 1, left around 2:15. It was great work so I did not mine the time but now that it is breaking, chipping, and peeling I really wish I had just done a full ombre dip, not sprayed on gel. Because the pink was sprayed on it is peeling off fast compared to a dip ombre. I was recommended by a friend who had her bridal party there and really want to give them another shot, but this was not a good experience.

I can’t say enough great things about this salon and Tammy! She always does an amazing job every single time! I bring her a picture of what I would like done and she nails it (pun intended) perfectly! My nails always turn out even better than I imagined. I get compliments constantly from coworkers, friends, family, and even strangers. Tammy’s attention to detail and creativity are unmatched. If you're looking for someone who listens and delivers flawless nails every time, look no further. Highly recommend!

I have been getting my pedicure and mani by Henry for the last 2 years and he does an AMAZING job. I haven’t posted a review yet because he is already difficult to book with and I don’t want him to get busier than he already is!! He only works on Saturday and is almost impossible to get in with him… His work is impeccable, he is meticulous, will do what you want oh and he is a gentle and kind young man!!🌻❤️
