American Nails

First picture is when I got my nails done August 21st, the second picture was taken on September 25th. My nails have been hanging on for over a month!! I am seriously impressed with the quality and strength of these nails. Not only is the quality good, but the staff are so sweet. My nail tech was Jennifer, she and I had such a great conversation and she made me feel safe and welcome. I recommend American nails and Jennifer 💕

I have been coming here for 6 years now and have never had a bad thing to say. I went today to get a refill and it ended up being $73!! During the actual appointment I got cut multiple times by the tools but did not say anything because i know it happens sometimes but if im paying $73 just for a refill I wish I wouldn’t get cut up. Yes, I did get a design but it was just polka dots, i also did not need any of my old nails fixed. That price is just outrageous to me, I have always recommended this place to everyone i know but after today i will not, I could get a full set and a pedicure at the same quality somewhere else for less than just the refill here. very disappointed.

Not a great experience. Staff members talking throughout the whole service to the nail tech doing my nails, seemed to be laughing in my face when I showed them the design I wanted. They asked me to explain more about the picture I showed them and I couldnt really explain (since I am not the nail tech here) so i just changed my design to what I thought would be simple to them however the lines on my nails are not stright whatsoever. I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel like this place gets unfair criticism sometimes. People often run straight to Google when they’re upset, but when they’re happy and satisfied, they rarely bother to share it. I’ve been coming here for a while, and honestly, the techs work so hard. They’re back-to-back with clients all day, breathing in chemicals, dealing with different personalities, and still trying to give everyone what they want. I’ve always felt like they do their best, and if something isn’t perfect, they’re open to fixing it. I think a lot of misunderstandings come from language barriers or different expectations, but that doesn’t mean the service isn’t good. It’s just easier for some people to criticize than to show appreciation. Personally, I’ve had great experiences here, and I appreciate the effort the staff puts in. I’d encourage anyone reading these negative reviews to give the salon a chance—you might be surprised at how much care and skill actually goes into the work.

I would only return for quick services, like a polish change because that’s clearly what they specialize in. I usually go to salons for a relaxing experience, and this was not the place for that at all. The tools appeared clean, but she didn’t take her time, the top coat is barely on my toes. The manicure was just as disappointing. The tech was on the phone the whole time.There was no hot towel or massage, which is something I expect in a basic manicure.The whole experience felt awkward, rushed, and rude. The small details and the customer experience really matter, and they missed the mark in every area. Also, bring cash because they have a weird card fee, but there is a ATM inside. Overall, not worth it for anything other than a quick in-and-out service.
