I took my daughter to get a kid’s haircut here. She had long hair that constantly matted underneath the top layer even with brushing and braiding. It was too long for her to brush properly. Michelle didn’t bat an eye at her knots and got to work! She quickly brushed through the knots, washed, cut about five inches off (which was requested). Not only is my daughter’s hair much more manageable, but she likes it, too (even though she didn’t want to cut it at all). I’m very pleased with the service, and Michelle was kind and professional. I recommend her to anyone, but especially those with kids looking for a clean up! Thanks, Michelle!

I was there about a month ago for the first time. My stylist Sasha was amazing, it was so refreshing to have her give me her opinions about styles and listen to what I was looking for. She did my hair with my back to the mirror most of the time and when she was done and turned me around I said WOW! I will definitely go back.

Took my daughter today for her back to school haircut. She’s only had one other haircut in her life and that was about 6 months ago at a salon down the road. I figured, being that Supercuts is good for the whole family, my 5 year old would be in good hands. I booked the appointment online which was super easy. I gave my daughter the option of who she wanted to cut her hair from the two options listed. She selected Marlene. When we got there, Marlene was very nice. My daughter has Autism and ADHD. Struggles to sit still and focus. First of all, her hair was “hanging below the chair” so my daughter had to stand up to get her hair cut. Then, Marlene removed the cape as it was becoming a distraction for my daughter. I stepped in and was trying to help when I saw my daughter still having some issues. Marlene’s exact words were “I have patience but if she doesn’t sit still, I won’t be able to cut her hair straight.” She clearly did not have said patience. Throughout the haircut, there was a lot of huffing and puffing from her. Not doubting her abilities to cut hair, just perhaps she shouldn’t take the kids that make appointments or come in. Also, $22 plus tip (which my card had to be run separately for because Marlene did not ask me if I wanted to add it the first time she ran my card) for a 5 year old’s haircut is a bit ridiculous. Next time, I’ll be patient and wait until the salon down the road is open and take my daughter back there instead of just trying to get it done with whoever is open. Much nicer, more patient, definitely cheaper, not to mention, less stressful for me.

When I walked in I didn’t know if my appointment booked online went through. I kept getting an error message. The original lady who spoke with me was not very welcoming or nice. And continued to make a few comments about how behind they were due to a color (which was me). Birdie immediately made me feel welcome in there. She stated she had time and saw my appointment come through last night! I stated if there truly wasn’t time it was okay. Birdie assured me there was time and everything was going to be okay. Birdie did an awesome job with my cut and color. I will be returning

Marlene was very accommodating when I walked through the door. She had a gentleman in a chair that she was working with and said she would be with me shortly, and she did have me in the chair within 7 minutes of saying that.. Very personable and talked with me while she did my hair cut. She took the time to make sure the length was satisfactory to me. I stated I would like an additional inch and she gladly cut the extra inch off. My layers look great and she did a terrific job. I will definitely come back to her any day over many other hairstylists in the Ephrata area. She has wonderful customer service and prides in making the customer happy.
