Vernon Nails Bar and Spa

I was in Portland for work and my nails needed some love. I was nearby this place and saw their stellar reviews, so I walked in on a Sunday mid-day. Despite being busy, they were able to take me in rather quickly and the quality of work was top-notch! I have thin nails and need a full set put on quite thick to keep them from bending and breaking. They intuitively knew this and applied accordingly. I also asked nail art in the form of rainclouds, and was thoroughly impressed. I also got gel pedicure with nail art. The manicure lasted 22 days before I went and got a backfill and had the nails shortened at my regular salon in VA. Prices are fair and quality of work and art is the best! I could not be more impressed with Vernon. Pictures 1 and 2 are fresh, just put on. Picture 3 is the manicure 21 days later.

I’m normally a classic one nail color girlie but was feeling extra creative and came into this nail salon for the first time after seeing my friend’s fabulous nail work last week and boy am I impressed. V was my nail tech and she absolutely killed it! The salon is clean, the ladies are kind and prices are very fair! I found my new nail PDX nail salon. Thank you V and Mary! Review update: I’m at my 3 week mark and nails are looking fabulous. Pictures 2 and 3 reflect 3 weeks of grow out. Very impressed. Can’t wait for my fill this week!

This is my third time here and every tech has been fabulous. Got gelx nails exactly how I wanted them and they went above and beyond to ensure they were perfect!

I tend to get bored with one color manicures, so I'm always coming in with (in my opinion) complicated design requests, and every time, I leave with nails that I absolutely love! I get gel, and because of the meticulous care I receive, my manicures last from 6-7 weeks and get compliments even when grown out. I could sometimes get away with 3-4 week manicures at other salons, but they would often lift and peel. I have rarely had that problem after getting my nails done at Vernon -- each nail design is often perfectly intact, minus a few gems, by the end of 6 weeks. I only go to Vernon Nails Bar and Spa now. I highly recommend!
