Fancy Nails And Spa

I always have a great experience here. Stacy is my go-to nail artist and really listens to how I want my nails done with regard to length, shape, thickness, design, and cuticle care. Everyone is friendly and the establishment is very clean with tons of color options for gel and traditional polished. They take walk ins but I usually make an appointment as they are quick to assist you. Highly recommended!

I had a full set done and they lady was extremely nice. However, the color was amazing just nothing like what I picked and the shaping turned out terrible. I noted the paint was chipping by the next morning and I went there to ask for help but a hand written sign said closed Tuesday. I called the next morning, got right in and two younger ladies helped me do a while new set. They were so nice and made it simple to come back for help. (First time ever going back to a nail shop!) she redid my nails and they looked a ton better! However, for $70 (I tip great too) it’s still so poorly done. Both times I asked the nail tech to fix nails to make them straight and they were not fixed. I feel bad because it is nice inside the people working there are absolutely amazing too.. just really lack skill.

I have been going to Fancy nails for several years now and have had great service until recently. My acrylic overlay on my nails has been coming off after only a few days on several occasions. My husband and I tip every single time but recently we were not only grossly overcharged but the $18 tip we gave was doubled. The salon argued with my husband and when he played the recording showing the overcharged amount they told him not to play it in the salon anymore and was asked to leave. They also said they would never return money again. Fancy nails, you just lost 2 loyal customers. I hope the overcharge and double tip was worth it.

It is VERY hard to find a decent nail salon around Portland that doesn't overcharge! The prices here were very fair I'd say. Clean, comfortable environment. The technicians were friendly and welcoming. We had an appointment but had to wait about 30 minutes which wasn't too terrible. We came here to get horrible nail jobs from another salon corrected. They had all the current styles and trends available (chrome, holo, cat's eye, etc). They paid so much attention to detail, and the results were so incredible. This is definitely going to be our regular nail salon from now on!

The 1 star if for the pedicure which was actually really good. However, this is hands down the worst set I've ever gotten. I feel bad for even writing this review, but I am in disbelief how horrible these turned out... if you can't do a certain style just say that. I'm disappointed to say the least, and you can't tell me they really thought this was a good job on their part.... I have my own business as well and still paid and tipped. But, that was the biggest waist of $75 on this set. I now have to go to a new tech and not only pay extra, but more time to fix this. Hopefully, moving forward your tech choose to do better quality than this.
