B'Inspired Studio

I just moved to Ashland and had no idea who to turn to for my cut and highlights. I looked at several other salons, way more expensive, but they were booked out. I'm so glad they were! It forced me to look again and when I did, I saw B'Inspired and felt an instant connection. The studio was very clean and cute.Troy was absolutely perfect. He took the time to truly listen and was also very confident in his skills and allowed us to collaborate to create the best cut and color I think I've ever had. Thank you Troy! I will definitely go back. I HIGHLY recommend Troy for your stylist. He's also a great conversationalist and helps pass the time with his calm and pleasant energy : )

The day after Troy worked his magic on my hair, I went to pick up lunch at the Co-Op. Within 15 minutes, five different men stopped to compliment my dress. The funny thing? The dress wasn’t new—the hair was! Troy’s eye for style and exceptional skill didn’t just transform my look, it boosted my confidence too. If you want a stylist who knows how to bring out your best, Troy is the one to see.

I had my first haircut today with Troy and I will say he gave me one of the best haircuts ever. He listened to my hair concerns and made me feel comfortable with how he was going to cut my hair. A true professional and also a very nice guy.

When I moved to Ashland I tried several hair salons and had the best overall experience at B’Inspired Studio. I’ve been getting my hair styled here for 7+ years now. It’s conveniently located, easy to schedule appointments online, has a relaxing and friendly vibe, and I appreciate the contactless checkout process. Most importantly, my hair cuts look professional and on trend. Highly recommend!

With all his raving five star reviews, it’s hard to believe that Troy botched my hair on accident. I’m a nice easy-going client who communicates clearly in tips well so I’m genuinely surprised. When I confronted him about this, he politely told me to screw off and that he’s keeping my money with no resolution to fix the cut. Either he was highly distracted and didn’t care about paying attention to details, or it was intentional to punish me for asking for a touch up. We had an agreement upfront that I would come in for a touchup for some of the layering, and instead he ruined my hair. It’s been six months and I’m still growing it out. Troy cut into the left side of my head behind my ear and jacked it up so bad it lifted the entire cut . This is supposed to be an inverted Bob. It’s correct on the other side, but he decided to dig into the side of my head asymmetrically and ruin it because he doesn’t appreciate my business. Is it discriminatory? Hard to say, but apparently he gets to disregard anyone he doesn’t like or care to amend his error, which is highly unprofessional. There’s a lot of places in Ashland that are a lot more accountable. He doesn’t have to answer to his clients because he works for himself first. i’d go somewhere else that has a manager that oversees their staff instead of this hack.
