Kawaii Nails Spa

I was not happy with my pedicure or the manicure, the French design on my toes are poor quality. The lady did not understand what I wanted. After many attempts to communicate what I wanted I just let her continue. She was sweet but did not have the skills to do a French set, that’s upsetting. My manicure was not performed correctly, I could not relax because I had to accommodate my arms over for the kid performing my manicure to do the service. An easy fix would be travel to each side to do one hand at a time. More professional, more considerate. Gel application was clumpy and thick 😒 and whatever product he applied separated. when I confronted the nail technician that I was not happy with my entire service he told me to come back in another day and get they can “fix” it. My biggest issue is, time and money. This place was reviewed by a local Tik Toker. Teaches me more on not falling for over hyped salons and tik tok recommendations! I expect better quality and skilled technicians when I come into a nail salon. SMH I can’t say I’d be back to get them “redone”. I’m more impatient about waiting for a week so I don’t feel terrible on spending $100 + again 🤕.!

I’ve had such great experiences here! Raven and Josh have both done my mani/pedis and done a great job. Today I saw Sam and she was wonderful. I wanted something crimson for the OU game this weekend but typically prefer a more natural color. I also wanted more length without doing an acrylic set. She gave me builder gel with tips and did a crimson French tip and I love it. She was very detailed but also got me out in the timeframe I requested (my son had a school event). I will be back to see her!

Made appt online for my regular manicure, got there and she wasn't so went with Sam as a walk-in for her and she was absolutely awesome! I usually go with a pic or some idea and the artist will guide me with their input. First time getting a cat eye gel dip and I'm in love with the results. Very clean, she worked fast (got nervous at first around my cuticle, but she was very precise and no nicks or being too rough) and I got out in an hour. Definitely happy 😊

everyone at kawaii is so nice and friendly. if you want an intricate design, Maysee 10/10 is your girl!! she is so friendly and does insane artwork on your nails!

First time at the salon and I’m highly disappointed. I came in for a gel fill and asked the tech if she was able to do the design I showed her. She said yes and when it got time to do the design she struggled to achieve my inspo pic, she even called other techs to help and still nothing. I asked if I need to choose a simpler design and I showed her another one. She continued to say yes that one is better. She was speaking to her boss not knowing I can understand her and insisted she did not know how to do the design I newly requested. I eventually gave up since I was there for 2.5 at that point. I asked for white French tips and I am not happy with how sloppy it looks. I’ve gotten better French tips for a better price. I will not be coming back. And yes she could of done a better cuticle job and the middle finger was cured with the top coat being janky and a brown speckle.
