I read in the reviews that Katie was really good, so I made an appointment. She was DIVINE! She's sweet, gentle, very careful, thorough and complied with all of my requests. I'm really picky, but she made me relax as soon as I sat in her chair. I got an almond-shaped nail refill & cat-eye gel polish. The bonus was the RELAXING HAND & FOREARM MASSAGE with oils & moisturizers when she finished painting my nails. What a treat!! I highly recommend her!!!

Let me start by saying the color is very pretty. This is my 4th trip to this salon. The 1st was an epic mess from color to design and shape. I don’t normally speak up but this time I did. I went back the next day and Stacy redid the design and she was WONDERFUL. The 3rd time I was put with the same gentleman and I was horribly uncomfortable and he wasn’t kind on my hands. I called today to see if Stacy was in and was available. I told them I would be there by 5:00 and they said come on in. I walked in the door at 5:01 and Stacy had just started a new set. I specifically went today bc they said she was available. I agreed to go with another tech. She didn’t acknowledge my existence… no greeting no anything. I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted… color/ shape/ design. She couldn’t really help me with the color and I was getting chrome so I didn’t know what shade of pink to pick. Fine, we got through it. The design I asked for were glindas “bubbles” you could tell that she didn’t do designs but I trusted the process. When I looked at them next it looked like a toddler had painted the circles. I ultimately just said skip the design. Then I went to check out and by that point I just wanted to go home. She gave me my total of 61.00 for an acrylic balance. (Note the 1st picture was less than what I paid today with a heck of a lot more nail art)No acknowledgment of the fact that I didn’t get the most basic of designs. I paid it and left. All this to say I called ahead bc it’s a bit of a drive for me. I paid 61.00 and didn’t get the nails I requested. I was tired and this was supposed to be a treat for myself and it was just frustrating and a headache. If I’m paying that much and I have to look at these nails for three weeks I at least want to like them. Why are we so afraid of confronting these nail salons in a constructive and kind manner. *the first set was done by Stacy… chefs kiss no notes. The second is of today’s nails minus the design. The third picture is referencing the design I asked for. If I knew I could get Stacy every time, I would be back and loyal as all get out. But as described even when you make an appointment you don’t know how it’s all going to turn out. I also know that they can’t possibly know what my day looked like and just how much a I needed a little pick me up. So I truly tried to be gracious and kind bc I also don’t know what they’re personally dealing with.

Had a wonderful experience at the salon today. Greeted at the door by everyone with smiles. My first time visiting and I will be back as well as recommend to everyone I know. I got a deluxe pedicure as well as a gel manicure. The deluxe pedicure was a very relaxing pedicure with exfoliating scrub and hot towels on the legs, my skin is so soft! The pedicure is just what my tootsies needed and manicure took care of my wrecked cuticles. Massage chairs are perfect for sore back. Music was a mix of popular pop. Prices were well worth the experience and results. Keep up the great work! Thank you all at Orchid! Update 10-14-25 Ive been back several times now, Stacy has done amazing every time with my nails art requests!!! I love them.

I brought a rough reference photo of what I wanted and they recreated it looking 100x better than what I could find online. Gorgeous work, incredibly kind and patient staff, and just such a relaxing place to go after a long week. I'll be sad when I move out of Findlay!

I have reached out to the business multiple times and gotten no response, so I’ll post what happened here. I went in on 06/05 to get a full set and pedicure (my daughter was getting the same). My pedicure was fine, the staff were friendly. My daughter’s pedicure and full set turned out great, super pleased (for reference she got almond shaped with designs). My set was just black almond nails, no design. My nails are god awful. Every nail is shaped differently and uneven, none are the same length or size, my pinky nail lifted that same day, and the polish is uneven. I tried to convince myself I was being to picky while there, and I hate complaining, but after spending almost $300, then getting no response when I reached out 3 times, I’m more than irritated and disappointed.
