My first time there was today 4/16/2025 I was recommended by a friend who sees Alina. Hands down such a great experience from start to finish. Alina was so kind and welcoming. It’s always so scary going to a new tech and not knowing what to talk about or what to ask for. She was very kind, friendly and did amazing on my dip manicure. She took her time and gave me a wonderful experience. I even booked my 3 week appt with her before I left. 5 stars! Absolutely!

This message is for handicap persons, individuals who are dying, disabled, elderly, families who provide 24-hour care for disabled children and adults, among other serious circumstances. I have been a customer of Elysian nails for quite some time. On, or around October 29th, 2025, a woman walked into the nail shop around 11:50A. She did not have an appointment and asked to be a walk-in customer. The owner D.J. accommodated her request. This infuriated me. I needed to be permitted to come to the shop as a walk-in customer out of circumstance. However, the owner D.J. told me he did not allow walk-in customers. This was the start of inconsistent and unfair policies and rules in his shop. He regularly fussed with customers about appointments and times. He seemed to feel a sense of power lecturing. He and his staff do not care about the customers. In fact, many members of his staff did not even bother to learn English. So, they lack the means to communicate with customers and they reside in the U.S. They even speak in their native language around customers so you don't even know what is being said around you. I can only imagine if the customers truly knew what was being said, they might not be providing all these fabulous reviews. While, I don't want to get too personal, I am going to provide some examples I believe should always be considered in business; and a willingness to provide an explanation of their actions. NUMBER #1 EXAMPLE: A famous actor was given 6 months to live with no notice. While, he looked to be in the fit of health. He nonetheless was dying. He deserved respect and patience. His last moments in life should not be receiving a tongue lashing from a nail shop/business. Not to mention, making his life more difficult or adding to his agony and grief. This actor never told anyone about his plight. He kept it to himself. However, he still had to get his haircut, manicure or basic grooming completed while he was still living. You never know what is going on in a person's life. Everyone deserves dignity and no human should be tormented under such circumstances. With that being said, this owner, D.J. should care more about the customers and always be willing to communicate and work with people in business. While, I understand the owner must make a profit to continue with his business. Elysian nails are only concerned with money, minute for minute timeliness and packing in customers to generate revenue. Remember, these nail techs spend hours, regularly with the same customers and don't even care to know their no name, but expect a large tip. NUMBER #2 EXAMPLE: A Parent or caregiver with a family member on a ventilator or who requires 24-hour care will always have trouble being on-time even for work. They have someone in their Livingroom dying, who is ill or needs constant monitoring. Families or individuals facing these types of situations have to wait for a nurse to arrive at their home, so they can legally leave for appointments. So, if the nurse or relief is late these families will be late even for work and they have no control over the issue. NUMBER #3 EXAMPLE: A person can pull up on-time for an appointment and perhaps it took them extra time to walk- up to the door of the business. They may have also, started to feel ill at that moment. They also might be having trouble with their walker, wheel chair or other unforeseen situations. Perhaps, someone hit their car before they arrived. With that being said, this young man & owner, D.J. should always be willing to at least entertain a conversation with any customer before refusing them services and negatively impacting their life. I truly believe you have to treat people the way you want to be treated. Elysian only offers walk-ins to certain people which makes it difficult and unfair. Review written 8/22/24: I had a great experience getting my fingers & toes done at Elysian Nails! I was with my best friend, her mom and her grandma. Allen paid special attention to my cuticles, shaped my nails carefully, and was very meticulous. The staff were extremely kind and patient with grandma, which was lovely to witness. The main issue I had is that the reason I got my nails done is because I’m in my friend’s wedding this Saturday 8/24 and got them painted 8/21 thinking they would last about a week or so with normal polish. However, the polish didn’t even last a full 24 hours, which was extremely disappointing! I think the color I chose was overly thick and more prone to cracking. I highly recommend that if you go there, you don’t get their normal polish or else you’re just wasting your time and money; it was $65 for nail polish that cracked and peeled less than a day after they were done! My toes still look good, but I also wore socks all day today so they’ve been protected. I don’t do any manual labor and haven’t washed my hands excessively or done any dishes manually in the last day so I’m not exactly sure why the polish didn’t last! Edited to add 9/16: I was the first one to start getting my nails done around 2:40 and we didn’t leave until just before 5 PM. Even with the fast drying drops on my fingernails, the paint did not last. Allen did everything right; I blame the brand/paint color, not him.

Shelly did an amazing job on my nails! I came in to have a previous set fixed from another salon, and she truly worked wonders with what she had to work with. She was so patient, detail-oriented, and made sure everything looked clean, even, and exactly how I wanted it. I will absolutely be coming back here—and I’ll definitely be booking with Shelly again. Highly recommend her if you're looking for someone skilled, professional, and kind!

I’ve been to many of the nail technicians as they are all great but I had Kim Chi today and I couldn’t be happier with my nails. The way she shaped the acrylic complimented my hands and my mis shaped nail beds! She did such a great job!! They look like my real nails and I was so happy!! I showed her a picture and I told her last time they were to long and thick and I was having a hard time typing at my job! She did a great job!! Thank you Kim Chi!
