Woodhouse Spa - Polaris

Great experience and a wonderful facial. I will say after a long day of work, it was always a nice perk to have a glass of wine in the "quiet room". It was actually one of my favorite parts and something that differentiated Woodhouse from other spa experiences. It ticked it up a notch. I would suggest bringing it back...it can't be "that" expensive with the prices that are charged.

This spa is spotless, and the staff is on top of every item being in its place. The staff is helpful though maybe not overly friendly. The services are very good. The only changes I would make would be to the refreshments. I believe the plastic tea bags are known to contain microplastics, and these are the loudest possible snacks for a quiet room (and nuts could be problematic for some). The pricing is fairly high, which I would be perfectly happy to pay if there were additional features, like a sauna and/or a steam room. Overall, I would definitely recommend to a friend. For me, it's a very occasional splurge.

Everyone at the front desk greeted me upon arrival All front desk staff were polite a d courteous . I was asked if I needed a refresher on the locker room. A staff member noticed I was washing my hands and set out a cloth for me . My facial isn’t ,Susie was excellent . I received a dermaplane facial . She answered all my questions ,and made suggestions for my skincare routine . I really enjoyed the neck , shoulder and and back massage . The quit rooms were relaxing .

Nice environment, I would rate it more at 3.5 stars. I had the 80 minute body balance that was supposed to be administered with light to medium strokes. I would say that 80% of the massage leaned more to the lighter side of pressure. Not quite what I expected. I’m still chasing that one massage that sets the pace for every other massage that I receive. Perhaps from the reviews that I’ve read, Javon may be the person that I need to book with? The price only matters if my need is not met.

I recently had an 80-minute deep tissue massage with Jay, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Jay expertly worked out the deep tension in my neck and shoulder areas, which had been bothering me for quite some time. His excellent use of pressure was both therapeutic and perfectly balanced, ensuring that the massage was effective yet comfortable throughout. Jay not only focused on the tight spots but also provided insightful suggestions for stretching to help maintain flexibility and reduce future tension. I left feeling significantly more relaxed and with a noticeable improvement in mobility. His skill and knowledge are truly top-notch!
