The Nail Retreat

Today was my first visit and I will not be back. Nick was nice enough but didn't trim the dead skin from my cuticles before placing my acrylic nails and skipped other steps. At the end, he said "You can go wash your hands with the scrub if you want." So, I did. Before I left and when I came back, people were having their hands massaged with lotion at the end of their service, which is really standard, and happens at every other place I have been to but nope, he didn't bother. He said "Here is a bottle of lotion if you want some." He skipped normal, standard steps. Like, If I am going to pay 86 bucks prior to tip, I would like the dead skin on my cuticles trimmed and maybe lotion my hands after. I will not return and I will be going back to my previous nail salon. If I am going to pay alot, I want quality service.

I came to Ohio for a year and have been here so many times now and I couldn’t be happier! Linda always does an amazing job, is super friendly and very professional. The nails are pretty, high quality and last long, without any liftings. I personally like to try different things and every time I leave the Nail Retreat I’m happy with the result. I can only recommend this place! If I ever come back to Ohio this will be my place to go (again).

Nail tech Visal does a great job! He is very detail oriented. I got the dipping powder nails and a pedicure from him twice and they last for weeks. Definitely recommend him! They even accept Venmo as payment which is convenient.

This place is my absolute favorite nail salon! Everyone is so nice, I’ve always been seen on time and they practice excellent covid precautions. I’ve had dip powder manicures elsewhere that have destroyed my cuticles or were too thick but Visal makes it perfectly delicate and my cuticles are all intact and treated with care. Cannot recommend this place enough!
