Uptown Nails

I was able to enjoy the Magnesium Pedicure and really enjoyed it. They were able to get me in the books same day too!! Great products and leg massage and my nails looked amazing when I left. My only disappointment was the nail polish was chipping off within 2 days of my flip flop wearing vacation. All past pedicure polish lasted well over a month.

I was looking for a new salon and read very good things about Uptown Nails. My appointment with Natalie went very well initially. She was very sweet and professional and did a great job on shaping and polish application, though I ended up with a lot of shrinkage from the top coat. That didn’t bother me. It happens all the time with regular top coat. The reason for the negative review wasn’t apparent until I removed the polish a week after my appointment. I had booked a same day appointment and since it was last minute I still had a bit of polish around my cuticles. Natalie assured me it wasn’t a problem and removed it with an efile with what I’m assuming was a buffing bit. I was a bit hesitant and asked her if it would cause any damage and she assured me it wouldn’t. Well, it did. I have deep divots in every one of my fingernails. A couple of them are painful, and so deep they’re still visible after three coats of polish. I’m extremely disappointed because I try to take good care of my nails and very rarely get professional manicures. Two stars because the salon is very cute clean and everyone I met on staff was very nice. I can’t recommend it, though, due to the damage done to my nails. There’s no way to fix it. I just have to wait six months for it to grow out.

This was my first time going to get my nails done since high school (15+ years ago), and tbh I was a little nervous. I'd set up to have my nails done by Julia cause I really liked the work she'd posted online. Im so glad I did! She was nice, down to earth, and was very validating when I told her some of my worries around nails on certain fingers. Also I gave her the most hodge podge idea of what I wanted and she created the prettiest nails! I legit love them so much lol. We were able to have a solid good convo too! Honestly it was such a good appointment and I will absolutely be going back!

I LOVE this place. I’ve been getting my nails done here for over a year and I have literally never left without being totally in love with my nails. I recommend this salon to everyone, even random girls in public that compliment my nails (which happens frequently). I can’t say enough good things about this place, especially Krista!!!🤍

I went to Katelyn Smith to get my nails done for my wedding. I was kinda unsure what I wanted exactly…and it was my first time at the salon. But Katelyn was so patient with me and worked with me until I found something I liked! They are gorgeous!! I got many compliments at the wedding and from friends. Whoever the girl was that did the nail art…..also phenomenal!! Will definitely be back, and even told my husband this will have to be worked into our budget in the future 😆 awesome job all around!! 👏👍🏻🙌
