I originally chose this studio because of the fast communication, the convenience, and the fact that it is women owned and a one stop shop. When I came in for my tattoo, I genuinely appreciated how responsive and welcoming Lique was. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Unfortunately, I was not fully satisfied with how my design turned out. It looked more “coloring book” than I expected, and I realized afterward that I should have done more research before choosing a botanical piece since I did not see a lot of that specific style on her page. Based on the other detailed work she had posted, I thought it was something that would translate well. On top of that, I paid a pretty hefty price for the piece, and I did not feel that the quality matched the cost. I also recognize that I should have come more prepared with a finalized design since I was asking for changes, so that part is not entirely her fault either. However, being charged extra just to adjust the design was surprising, as I have never experienced that before. I was originally scheduled to return for a touch up, but I did not feel confident enough to come back, so I chose to have the remaining work done elsewhere. This is not a reflection of her professionalism. She was very kind and expressive throughout the process, which is why it was disappointing that my piece did not match the quality I saw in her other work.

Everyone at Phoenix Ink & Beauty was welcoming and helpful. The shop was very clean and well organized. The tattoo artist, Angelique carefully explained the procedure and made sure I knew exactly what to expect before, during and after the tattooing process. All of the information was also sent to me via email. Everything went well and I had no complications. I now have a tattoo that is much sweeter than I anticipated. This was my first tattoo, and I am already looking forward to my next!

I have never had a bad experience with Angelique. I have received a few tattoos and a have never left then anything less than completely satisfied. The shop is always clean and professionally. So when my son wanted his first tattoo I didn't hesitate to take him here. I will definitely be back for more in the future.
