Always friendly, honest. I came in with hair that was very uneven and broken off from a bad product. She helped saved my hair and introduced me to a protein treatment. My hair is growing back so good.

I love the hair cut I received at Karlyta’s Dominican hair salon! See the attached before and the several after hair-cut images.. where I am clearly feeling myself! I walked in the salon with my hair in a bun. Ms. Karla decided it was best to wet it. She added both shampoo and conditioner in my hair. I totally enjoyed the head massage I received during this time! :) She then wrapped my hair in a towel and escorted me to the styling chair. I mentioned to her I wanted my cut in layers and desired 6 inches cut. She executed the cut very well! She finished the job by blow drying and straightening my hair, styling the ends with fabulous curls. I would like to mention how truly comfortable I was the entire process. I found my self surrounded by three hair stylists (I walked-in early) who were each very down-to-earth. I thought they were funny, and they spoke positively- no negativity. They all acknowledged me and treated me well. Karla was especially gentle with me, asked me several times, “Estas bien, mi amor?” :) The interior of salon is beautifully colored: baby purple, and everything was well-organized, clean, plenty of space. If you’re a woman in the area and are in-need of a hair masterpiece, stop on by! I repeat, me encanto el corte de cabello que recivi, y aqui me trataron de lo mejor! :)

Wow I’m still shocked me and my daughter both came in and got blow outs we are natural but have a beautiful grade of hair , however once I started working out and sweating days later I noticed a strong chemical smell and something that smelled like popcorn I washed my hair today finally and my daughter her entire front and mine are completely straight I went to Raleigh NC and had a stylist test my hair come to find out it’s keratin treatment products used on both me and my child’s hair which is causing our curls to be completely gone please BLACK AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN idc if it’s cheap I don’t care about these “good” reviews for the healthy of your hair don’t trust their “protein” treatment or the wet brush them use when having you at the shampoo bowl ask to see exactly what’s in your hair and being used on your hair, they don’t care about the health Only the silk yes it’s cheap but it will cause you real hair damage. They are super nice but they are not true to what’s being used many others stated they used relaxers I was only told keratin was used on my hair from my Raleigh stylist.
