Nail Time Morganton

I really hate to leave a negative review, but I’m genuinely very unhappy. My friend from Asheville and I (from Charlotte) met half way in Morganton to get a mani/pedi before her baby was due. Not knowing anything about Morganton nail salons, we picked this location based on reviews. After the fact, I think the reviews are from regulars which isn’t painting the entire picture. My first complaint is that after 3 days, my gel nail polish is peeling. I’m very upset that I spent over $100 for a mani/pedi just for the gel to peel in less than a week! That’s definitely what drove me to write this review. Secondly, there’s a large homeless population in the woods next to the salon. One of the homeless women came in the salon and asked to charge her phone while her friends drank beer on the curb in front of the salon. This is in a strip mall with a food lion, so maybe this isn’t surprising. Lastly, the girl that did my nails was as nice as anything, but she did walk away frequently during my appointment. I’m wondering if maybe she forgot what she painted and what she didn’t. Maybe that’s why it chipped so quickly. Anyway, I’m very disappointed that I paid over $100 for nails that chipped and to be in somewhat of a dicey situation. My toes are fine, which is why they’re getting 2 stars.

If you’re searching for your forever nail salon, STOP—because Nail Time Morganton is absolutely where you need to be! The moment you walk in, the salon is spotless, bright, and beautifully welcoming. The atmosphere is warm, relaxing, and full of positive energy. Every single nail tech here is incredibly skilled and genuinely cares about your experience. But I have to give a special shoutout to Gillian. Not only is she an exceptionally talented nail tech, but she’s also the owner—and you can feel her passion in every detail of the salon. Her commitment to customer service and making sure every client leaves happy is unmatched. Yesterday, she did my new set, and I am in LOVE. When she removed my old nails, I noticed how healthy and strong my natural nails were underneath—which says everything about the quality of her work and products. Then she applied my fresh set, and honestly? I cannot even tell I have artificial nails on! They feel light, comfortable, and look absolutely flawless. I have never felt so pampered, listened to, and excited about my nails before. If you want a place that truly feels like home and a salon team that treats you with kindness, care, and genuine artistry, I cannot scream it any louder: GO TO NAIL TIME MORGANTON! They are simply the BEST. ✨💗💅

Staff was very friendly but in terms of quality would not recommend. I stopped here because I didn’t have time to make it to my regular nail salon. The removal of existing destroyed my nails which were surprisingly healthy. One hand was soaked and the other hand was just pried off. Every cuticle was filed and 5/10 bled. I got SNS and my cuticles are covered. Every nail is glued to the surrounding skin and some of the tips (not extensions, my nails) are glued to the skin. I won’t even comment on the shaping or the loss of length because of the damage. $60 with tip. I could have done a much better job dipping them myself at home.
