Nails Studio

I called Nail Studio 2 1/2 hours before closing, explained I was 25 minutes away, and asked if they could still do my nails. The woman on the phone said, "Yes, of course, come on." I drove all the way there, knowing I had a job interview early the next morning, and when I walked in, they looked at me like I was crazy and said they were booked. No apology, no explanation, just snickering as I walked out. Really disappointing after being told to come in.

These girls are amazing and the way they stay booked is proof! They do clean, artistic nails and use colored acrylic powder which doesn’t chip so you can go 3 weeks in between fill-ins. I’ve been a customer for over a decade now. Padong always does my nails but Shelley has done my nails as well. Both amazing!

I’ve been trying out different nail salons in Hickory and I think I found the one. Without saying anything, Lisa knew that I didn’t have an ingrown nail, but rather it was the skin around the nail that grows and harden causing toe pain. She took care of that with ease, and her nail shaping and polish job were also excellent. I will definitely be back.

I came in with torn and bleeding cuticles and a very bad eczema flare-up on my arm. I was so embarrassed by how my nails and skin looked and was very anxious to make an appointment. I had heard that getting acrylic nails helps prevent excessive damage from scratching during a flare-up because it thickens and smooths the edge of the nail, so i wanted to try it. My nail tech Mau was incredibly sweet and did an amazing job on my nails. She made me feel understood and helped me relax and enjoy the process and helped clean up my torn cuticles so they can heal better. When I explained my nail goals she even gave me extra tips on how her other customers with eczema treat their breakouts, as well as how to make my new nails last longer. I am recommending all my friends come here, and I won't be going anywhere else when I need my nails done in the future. Thank you so much, Mau! 🌼
