Posh Nail Spa

After having a busy day with Doctor appointments, I decided to take myself and my parents out to get a manicure and pedicure. All three of us had birthdays in August, so it was the perfect opportunity to have a treat as well. Manicures and pedicures are not typically my thing, so I didn’t readily have someplace in mind. I did a Google and Yelp search to find a place that had good reviews. I came across Posh Nails off of US Highway 17 in Garner and decided to go there and see if they allow walk-ins. Luckily, when I arrived they had availability and did allow walk-ins so the three of us were seated right away for our pedicures. It’s a nice set up at this facility. They also have free beverages available while you’re being serviced. Christina was my nail technician. She did a great job with my pedicure and my manicure. My parents pedicure and manicure also went well. There were two things that I observed during my visit that threw me for a loop. (1) I was unaware of an additional service charge separate from the cost for the manicure and the pedicure. My first thought was that the beverages aren’t really free, and there’s a secret charge for the beverages but when I inquired about what it was for, I was told it’s because I had two different services done. That struck me as very odd. Some nail salons actually give you a discount if you’re having a combination manicure and pedicure service. This was the very first time that I heard of a service charge because I had two services done instead of one. I was eager to see the bill so that I could see exactly how it was listed, but conveniently enough, I did not receive an itemized bill just a credit card receipt. (2) My technician set up a small fan so that I could have my nails dried before I left the facility; however, my mother‘s technician tried to have my mom leave right after he finished painting her nails without drying them first. It took my father‘s technician to point out to my mother‘s technician that he needed to dry my mom’s nails first because they were still wet. I was quite surprised that my mother‘s technician thought it would be OK to not dry her nails before letting her leave the facility. Overall, our visit went well, but because of those two instances I mentioned above, I have reduced my score from 4 to 3.

I had the pleasure of getting my nails done at Posh Nail Shop, and let me just say—Queen is amazing! She did a remarkable job on my nail design and sculpture. You can tell she takes pride in her work because she really took her time to make sure everything was perfect. I’m not much of a talker, and I truly appreciated how she wasn’t pushy with conversation. She was super personable and had great energy, but also respected my quiet vibe. I absolutely LOVE my nails and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Queen if you’re looking for a skilled, considerate tech who knows her stuff! 💅🏽✨

I initially went to Tango nails as a walk in. However, I wasn't seen or attended to. I googled nail salons near me, and saw Posh salon. I came in and was immediately greeted with a smile. The salon is esthetically pleasing than most I've been to in the Garner/Clayton area. I was immediately seated at Quinn station. She didn't interact with me, but I was ok with that. I gave her an inspiration style and she executed it in the shape I wanted. I also got my feet done done. I am a nail tech myself, so I valued the quality of service and attention to details that Quinn provided. The complimentary drink was an added touch.

This was my first time booking with Kacy and she ATE my nails UP!! The detail, the shape, the design, everything came out perfect & exactly how I wanted it! She was super professional but still made me feel comfortable and welcomed the whole time. You can tell she really cares about her work, the quality of my nails are top tier (the first picture was my inspiration & the second is the outcome!), I always come here, it’s my favorite spot! from eyebrows with Sarah to other artists I also recommend like TeaTea, Hue, Jimmy & the very kind and welcoming receptionist. Everyone is honestly amazing!

Quyen is amazing!! She takes my inspiration for my nails and always takes it to the next level! Her staff is always professional and very welcoming! The facility is clean and inviting! I enjoy getting manicures and pedicures here every month!
