I had an incredible experience at this nail salon! Johnny did an absolutely amazing job on my nails. He was patient, detailed, and really listened to what I wanted. The shape, the design, the finish everything came out perfect. You can tell he takes pride in his work and makes sure his clients leave happy. I’ve already gotten so many compliments on my nails, and I’ll definitely be coming back to see Johnny again. Highly recommend him if you want flawless nails and great service! 💅✨

I was referred by Colleen. This place is Absolutely Awesome!! Mr. Johnny did my nails! Kind, patient, engaging and assured! By far the best! My nails are beautiful. Ms. Tye did my toes!!! Me and my friend came to get our nails done last minute and they accepted us cheerfully. The environment was so welcoming and friendly we enjoyed every moment! Ester and Tren did our nails and they look fantastic! Irene gave us our pedicures and she was an absolute doll! I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the Clayton/Garner area

First I would like to mention I am an open minded person and willing to remove this review as well as update the review if West End Nails makes this situation right for me. I have been coming here since I moved to the area and have always loved this nail salon. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was the first time I had a negative experience. I was moved to the end seat to have my nails done, and the technician never asked what shape I wanted. I told her I wanted them shorter, but not nearly as short as she made them. I have also never been charged $20 to remove gel toenail polish as a returning customer, nor have I ever felt so unimportant during a visit. The technician repeatedly looked at her own nails while working on mine, then left in the middle of my service — after already messing them up — to go get her own nails done. This was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I should not have been seated with someone who could not focus on providing quality service and ensuring my nails looked the way I wanted. I spend a significant amount of money here, and this should be a relaxing experience. Instead, I felt stressed and disregarded throughout the appointment. I always tip well, but my tip reflects the level of service and how I am treated, as it should. The only reason I left a tip at all was because the technician who did my toes deserved it. The girl nail technician’s behavior does not reflect his work, and I sincerely hope the full $10 went to him. I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I have otherwise enjoyed being a loyal customer.
