Liz Nails

It bothers me to do this since it’s not in my nature to write a bad review. I hardly leave reviews, but I felt I had to in this case. Let me first start by saying the lady did a nice job on my pedicure. I do not live here permanently and was looking for a place to do my nails before I went on my vacation. I got the deluxe package for a manicure and a pedicure. The cost $110. Three days later I noticed that my nails were already moving up from the bed of the nails. I called them and told them my dilemma. She proceeded to tell me that maybe I was cleaning or messing with my nails somehow. She didn’t know because she couldn’t see my nails. I understood that. I told her that I was on vacation two planes rides away and I have not done anything with my nails and I could not come show them to her. We went back and forth a bit and i asked her how she could rectify this. Since I could not go there and show my nails I asked her if she can give me her phone number and I would send her a picture of them. Sorry, I wish I knew her name. She remembered who I was. She gave me her number and I sent her a picture. We left it that she would call me back or text me back to discuss. To my disappointment I have not heard back from her and It’s been over a week Very disappointed in this botched job and for them not even acknowledging that I sent a text message.

I want to start off by saying. I do NOT like to leave reviews. I am really big on customer service & pleasing customers!!! Got pedi done on July 2nd and was very disappointed on my service and attitude that I the customer received!! After my pedi was done I asked my nail tech for a pair of there flip-flops. And she refused to give me a pair!!!! When I got home took off my nikes and my two big toes was messed up!! Called manger. Went back and that's when I received bad attitude. No apologies from the nail tech or manger! Soo I will not be going back

I had my nails done today 8/12 and I had a hat on because it was raining, and I really only go once a month so Alisa owner of liz nails told me after she did my nails and took my money that she did want to do my nails again . So why let me make an appointment. Tell me when I made apptI was shocked because I dont come on a regular basis. I got in my car a thought about it. So I call her and told her l was trying to figure what she was talking about. She said you feel uncomfortable with me. I said what I have never said anything to you and she said I feel uncomfortable doing your nails. I think she has me mixed up with someone else since I had a hat on and my glasses on. I asked her if she had me mixed up with someone else and she hung up the phone. If you own a business at least be able to have a conversation with someone when they are trying to make sense of what you are saying.

I've tried a few nail salons in Albemarle. This is the best one. Anna does my pedicures. She does a fantastic job. I highly recommend her. Call ahead and make an appointment. The salon is really clean and nice. They stay busy.

I brought my 11 year old girls here for a gel mani and regular pedi. They didn’t have the regular polish to match my nieces’ gel nails and she had to pick another color. Something got lost in translation between them and her tech did gel polish on her toes. We all laughed when we realized it. However it wasn’t funny that they expected me to pay for it. I refused the discount offered and they decided they would rather take the gel off and repaint her toes. I had time so I obliged because I wasn’t paying for their mistake. My girls nails were a bit sloppy (see photos) and this absolutely ruined what was supposed to be a special treat for my special girls. So much for customer service and accountability. I will not return here and warn you all to state your requests many times to avoid a similar experience.
