Essence Nails

I’ve been going to Essence Nails for over 10 years. I’ve never had a complaint about the service there. The people there are the result of the various manicures and pedicures that I have gotten. The previous owner, who is still there, is fantastic. She’s so sweet, and the current owner is terrific, and all the workers are personable and try to make a connection with her customers. Recently, I had a fill with Tou (my apologiesof I spelled that wrong), and he did a marvelous job painting little black cats on my fingers for me, taking a lot of time. I highly recommend Essence Nails.

I’ve been going to Essence regularly over the last 10 years and I’ve always enjoyed my visits and never had a problem with a mani / pedi. The workers have been great and like to joke and talk to us while they’re working. Definitely recommend!

Today’s nails were 100%, he did an amazing job. Very satisfied with today’s visit! Vincent did a great job.

They get two stars for good customer service. But my nail job was botched. The nail tech (a young man, might still be learning) did not know what he was doing, the worst part is I was watching it and I knew it wouldn’t come out right, had to talk him through it and this was the best he could do. Another bad sign is when a tech keeps nicking you. There may be better technicians in the saloon, but the young man needs training, $100 for botched nail job isn’t it!

I would give a 0 stars if I could. Vincent has been doing my nails for over a year I’ve always tipped him 20% after every service and he has cancelled twice before two major events for me. He was also always late and over booking appointments. He also would change his prices every single visit and every visit I would do the same style, color ext. I would not recommend coming here!
