Extremely Disappointing and Painful Experience! I went to 159 Nails twice, hoping for a good experience, but unfortunately both visits were very disappointing. The first time, I worked with Coco, who barely put any effort into the service — it felt rushed and careless. Despite that, I decided to give the salon another chance and booked with Leo. This time, things went from disappointing to painful. He used a green heel scrubber not just on my heels, but also on the tops and sides of my feet, which left my skin raw and sore. The end result was painful and horrific, and I’m still dealing with the aftermath. I truly regret giving this place a second chance. I hope the salon takes more care in how services are performed and ensures their staff are properly trained to avoid causing harm to clients.

Long and honest review — I had an incredibly terrible and frustrating experience at 159 Nails. It deserves 0 stars. I only went here because my usual tech was unavailable, but I deeply regret the decision. From the moment I walked in, I was overwhelmed by how chaotic and unwelcoming the environment was. Miley and the man at the front immediately began shouting questions at me before I could even say a word or take the place in, pressuring me to rush into a decision and then clearly talking about me to each other. I asked for a gel pedicure and a full acrylic set w gel (which I get regularly), but I was interrogated like it was an unusual request. I knew I should have walked out then. The pedicure, done by Coco, was extremely basic — minimal effort, little exfoliation, polish not even close to my cuticles, and my feet left dryer than I arrived? . Definitely not worth the $48 I was charged. Next, I was seated with Jennie for my nails. I showed her a design, and she quoted $5 extra for the shape. I offered backup ideas in case the design was too difficult, but she didn’t respond. Then she suddenly said the total would be $155 — which I assumed included both the pedicure and full set, as that’s usually how it works at every other salon. Some even make u pay at this point. That’s already higher than what I usually pay, but I figured this place might just be on the pricier side. As the nails started, Miley came over, scolding Jennie and switching out the polish — without asking me — for a “cat eye” gel, and other things. which apparently costs more. I was never told about the change or any upcharge. I wasn’t even given a choice of shade or anything. The design turned out sloppy — 3 of the 5 finger designs are just stickers and looked nothing like what I showed. One is supposed to be a butterfly, but it’s barely visible. Jennie wasn’t able to do part of the design that involved chrome after multiple attempts (another hidden charge and choice I didnt make ), so Miley literally elbowed her out of the chair and took over. This was 2 HOURS into my nails , not including pedi. Miley’s behavior was rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional — to me and to her staff. She kept barking orders, moving my hands roughly, and acting like I was inconveniencing her or less than her. The whole environment was tense and uncomfortable. At the end, when she asked if I liked the nails, I said they were “okay” — she became visibly annoyed. To make things worse, they tried to charge me $188, saying it was actually $203 and they were “giving me a $15 discount” for the inconvenience. I was stunned. I questioned the charges and was then told the $155 was just for the nails, not including the pedicure and they added on for the “extras” The pricing was never explained clearly, and I was never given a choice on extras like cat eye or chrome. I feel Jennie gave me My total because she was using regular gel and Miley made her use extras. Their pricing on their list is $83 for a new full acrylic gel set. 2 of my fingers are just regular gel polish. I’ve paid $110–$125 max at other salons for the same things and better work, with all extras and pricing disclosed upfront and at my discretion . The final result was terrible: thick nails, uneven polish that doesn’t reach my Cuticle or cover the sides, designs that didn’t match the reference, and an overall sloppy, rushed look. They look like cheap press-ons and I’ll need to get them redone immediately. To make matters worse, Miley continued berating and blaming Jennie in front of me, such a toxic and disrespectful work environment. I will be reporting this behavior and seeking my Money back. This place feels more like a scam than an honest salon, and I question the validity of their high ratings — especially since they seem to offer snacks and incentives in exchange for good reviews. Avoid this place. Completely unprofessional, overpriced, and hostile.

2nd time I have been here and love it! Clean...polite...vast amounts of colors...they take their time...I had Judy...she was wonderful! My daughter also came and was treated just the same. I can't wait to go back again! I drive 20 minutes out of my way past many other salons to go here. Thankful for the way they do things and present themselves! Had a mani/pedi with a 10 min leg massage!

I been looking everywhere for a person to do my nails, no one did it right. This place was recommended by a friend, Eva is the best , she is been doing my nails the past few months, love her, she is very sweet, takes her time and my nails last almost 4 weeks. The salon is very clean and professional.

Beware of "Dazzle" polish rip off. I've gotten regular mani / pedis here on multiple occasions and was very satisfied. I came back to get a "dazzle" mani/pedi, because it's supposed to last up to 10 days abdy I've gotten dazzle before at other salons —it looks and feels like gel (thick and even lasted me two weeks) ... They must dilute their dazzle polish at this salon because it's not thick at all, just looks like regular polish on my nails and has already chipped after 2 days.
