Natural Nails

I was incredibly disappointed by the male nail tech today. This was my first time ever getting my nails done. I was so excited. The first thing he did was grab my arm and shake it, presumably to tell me I was too stiff? I dont know. He didn't speak to me. Didn't ask what shape I wanted my nails. From the moment I sat down, he was speaking to the other nail techs in their native language and laughing. Not a word to me. I have Tourettes syndrome, which manifests in a sound that's similar to a hiccup. He asked if I needed a drink and I said "No, I just have tourettes." He proceeded to laugh at me while making a comment to another nail tech. And laughed again every time I had a tic after that. After prepping my nails, he brushed the dust off with his hand and then roughly smacked the top of my hand. I have no idea why. He used so much glue that my skin was stuck to my nails and he was just ripping them apart by pinching the sides of my fingers quite hard, which obviously hurt. I flinched, he yanked my arm. I said "Sorry it hurts" and he proceeded to continue roughly pulling at my skin, then yanking my arm every time I flinched. I started crying and another nail tech interrupted him. He said "Does it hurt?" I said "I already told you it hurt." The female tech took over. She was somehow able to separate my skin from my nails without hurting me, (imagine that.) And finished my nails. The acrylic was so drippy and lumpy that I ended up going home and filing off all of the paint and lumps, then repainting them myself. $65 to be repeatedly hurt and go home with lumpy, drippy nails that looked like they belonged on an ogre. If he woke up this morning and decided to turn someone off from getting their nails done ever again, he succeeded.

I love my nail technician Lee! She is always willing to try my crazy ideas for concept nail designs or things I find on Pinterest. She has excellent skills painting on any holiday design I choose. I appreciate her tremendous effort to make me happy when I'm in her chair. 💖💅

Me and a friend of mine had gone here to get our nails done today and I’m speaking on behalf of my friend in this review. The guy who work here was very rough with my friends nails and hands and at one point even smacked her hand. Which is extremely unprofessional in any setting! This was her first time going to get her nails done and I recommended going to this place as I have been here before and know of other who have been loyal customers here and this was absolutely the worst experience I have ever seen /been around. I do not believe this guy should be working here any longer if he is going to hit people’s hands while working on them. The guy also failed to ask her what shape she wanted, applied way too much acrylic and was actively talking about her in his own language which is also unprofessional behavior.

Super friendly staff, great service! I have been getting pedicures here for years. Last time I was in, I did didn’t realize I’d left the sunroof to my car open, and it was pouring out! Once I realized it, they quickly helped me out of the pedicure chair and then provided me with several towels when I came back into the shop, soaking wet. They were overly accommodating and sympathetic to my situation. The staff is always friendly and personable! The pedicure chairs are always clean!

Today I visited this salon for a manicure and pedicure. The young woman who provided the service was kind, professional, and did a very nice job. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by the behavior of the owner. When it came time to pay, I presented a gift certificate that still had two months before its expiration date. The owner refused to honor it, insisting that it had expired, despite the clearly written date. She also would not allow the nail technician to check me out. The salon was full of other clients, and I chose not to create a scene, but I calmly explained that I’ve been a loyal customer for years and that the certificate was a gift. The owner was dismissive, unprofessional, and unwilling to resolve the issue fairly. I left disappointed and uncomfortable. While the staff doing the services were lovely, I would not recommend this salon based on how poorly the situation was handled.
