this is the only salon i’ve been to since i moved to buffalo and i’ve had great experiences until my last two manicures.. the wavy art set: the tech destroyed my cuticles to the point where i was bleeding. i said multiple times that she was hurting me, and three of my cuticles ended up becoming infected. that particular tech also flooded my nails with gel top coat, to the point where i could not deal and had to drive back to the salon after a doctors appointment. i did let the person know who had checked me out that i was bleeding before i left the salon the first time that day (still, after the time it took for a gel manicure with art) and felt very dismissed. a month later, i decided to go back to give Luss another chance since I had previously good experiences. The actual manicure itself went smoothly (fishy nails) but two days later the top coat with the cat eye polish and design had lifted from my nail. I went back to the salon to see if they could put another layer of gel on top, which they did, but now after a week the same sections of the polish have been coming up on every nail. I am not sure if this is an application issue, but this has never happened to me before and no one has the time to drive back and forth to ask tech to fix the issues. i spent $82 + tip on this set and i really love them, it’s just very disappointing that they didn’t even last a week. i have only ever gotten gel manicures from Luss and it’s sad that my small instance of self-care did not last longer than a week. I don’t think i’ll be returning here.

DO NOT GO HERE! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE BLACK. I have never had such a horrible nail experience in all my life. I came for a pedicure(with gel) and manicure with acrylic. While the pedicure was an average experience, I could tell they chose the least experienced person to do my pedicure. I included a picture of what I wanted vs. what I got for my manicure. LEE absolutely messed up my nails. 1. He tried to tell me about the correct way to do the design so I took his word for it assuming he knew what he was doing. Then once I told him I was unsatisfied with the final result because it did not look like the picture he tried to argue with me and tell me he told me they didn’t have the color for the style I wanted (which he never said). He also did not include the heart design I wanted. 2. In the middle of doing my nails he stopped TO CLIP HIS OWN NAILS. Absolutely unsanitary and quite disrespectful. 3. He made several of my cuticles bleed. He was very rough and not kind 4. After refusing to argue with him and calmly stating that I was unsatisfied he said “well I can just cut them all off right now” with a snarky attitude. Given the fact that I have already been there for 2+ hours and my cuticles were bleeding, I decided to schedule an appointment another day to return and fix the nails. When I returned, Juanita did an excellent job on my nails and did the style that they “did not have the color for”. Unfortunately I was still charged full price 125 and didn’t even get as little as an apology. Update: The nails popped off so easily after 1.5 weeks and left deep indentations on my real nails. DO NOT GO HERE! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE BLACK. For reference I went with one other black friend and a mixed, white presenting friend. My white presenting friend had an amazing experience and myself and my black friend had a poor experience.

I got a beautiful manicure done by Kim. She was so sweet and professional and very willing to work with my inspiration photo! Kim was so genuine and easy to chat with, sharing the most incredible stories while shaping my nails to perfection! The salon is very clean in comparison to other salons I’ve been to, and the staff really does want you to walk out satisfied with their services. Treat yourself! Call ahead and make the appointment, enjoy the pampering and attention to detail!

Michele is wonderful! I highly recommend. She takes her time and gives you what you want. She was nice enough to stay past closing and give me a pedicure. She’s also AMAZING at fine detailed designs.
