Milano Pedi Spa

I was recommended by a coworker to visit this nail salon because I am new here and they are “really good”. I had a horrible experience this morning. I had gel-x on my fingers to be removed…. That’s it! I pulled up got checked in. A lady came to the station and proceeded to clip my nails without even introducing herself. After clipping my nails I she started using another nail to lift the gelx “which is impossible to do!” I stopped her and told her they need to be soaked off. She said “we don’t soaked these nails we only soak acrylic and some other nails”. I said no these nails can’t come off with just picking them that will damage my natural nails. She stopped and proceeded to tell me that I will have to go somewhere else to get it done. She then communicated with some other person in the salon in their language. I don’t know what was said. However she continued to clip the nails then use the grill on top of the nails and then place my fingers into the acetone. I sat there for about 15mins before this guy (another nail tech) came over and proceeded to grill my nails. At first he was gentle but in the end he got irritated and was being a bit rude after I was letting him know that some of the nails needed a bit more buffing. He said after the oil go on it, it will be fine. I was like no. He seemed to be in a lot of hurry and never wanted to satisfy me. I went washed my hands, paid and left. I will NEVER go back to this salon. This was my first and last time here.

Almost with Milano Pedi Spa never let me down. Made a last minute appointment for a DIP manicure and it couldn't have gone better. They took their time and I really enjoy the conversation. Always the best service everytime I've been - my nails have never looked better and it's all because of them Hands down one of the best nail salons I have been in a long time.

Sam was a great technician and calling to get a reservation was very easy. The salon was clean and pleasant as well! No complaints at all with my service! I came in for an acrylic fill and they let me know it would be $40 for gel and then extra if I wanted any design or a shape change. I stuck with one color and did not change the shape. I ended up being charged an extra $15 because my nails are medium/long. I have been getting my nails done a long time and I’ve never been charged extra on a fill for longer nails. I’m fine with paying when I need to but felt a little taken advantage of / I wish I was told this up front when I asked.

6+ weeks retention gelx manicure!!! The nail tech who did my gelx manicure did a great job. My nails are holding strong at 6 weeks. The older tech who did my gel pedicure didn't do as good of a job. There was a lot of cuticle flooding and there is lint in the paint. IDK if she was working too fast, needed glasses, or just didn't care, but my manicure was so good I'll go back again.
