Beauty On 9

Absolutely unacceptable experience. Do NOT go here. I do not normally go to this salon and had no prior knowledge of Nick or that he would be my stylist. I originally had an appointment with Vicky, but she was reassigned to another client, and I went with the flow. From the start, Nick was aggressive. I have thick, curly hair, and while washing it he was yanking my hair to reposition my head instead of asking me to move. Once I was in the chair, he didn’t even brush my hair and immediately started blow-drying it in different directions, causing excessive frizz. When I politely mentioned that my hair gets frizzy, he sighed loudly in annoyance. As he continued, he yanked my hair so hard I genuinely thought it was going to rip out. I was visibly uncomfortable. Instead of adjusting, he stopped blow-drying and yelled across the salon, screaming, “WHY ARE YOU SO FUSSY?” While working on the front of my hair, he hit me on the head with the blow dryer. I audibly said “OW.” He turned the dryer off, mocked me by reenacting the motion, and said, “What? What? I hit you? I hit you?”, even motioning as if he were going to hit me again. After the service, I calmly and politely told the woman at the front desk that no stylist should ever treat a customer this way. At that point, both Nick and the woman at the desk began yelling at me. Nick stormed over, got close to my face, and yelled, “WHY DON’T YOU WORK HERE? YOU’RE FUSSY. YOU HAVE PROBLEMS. NEVER GO HERE.” As I was leaving, he continued yelling after me, “YOU WORK HERE.” The situation escalated so badly that another customer had to step in and calm me down as I began breaking down from how unsafe I felt. This was humiliating, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. No customer should ever feel threatened or unsafe in a salon. Do not go here

I have been getting my Keratin done by Christina at Beauty on 9 for a few years now. It is always super easy to make an appointment. Christina takes her time and is so patient with my very curly and corse hair. I’ve tried other places before I found Beauty on 9 and it is by far the best Keratin treatment I’ve gotten. The price is always reasonable also.

I had a very disappointing experience at this place. I went in for a haircut, but I was never asked what I wanted. My hair wasn't even sprayed with water to ensure a proper cut. The stylist did very little in terms of cutting, and then she suggested that it would look better if I got a blowout. I agreed to try it, but I was horrified to see that the brushes she used were never cleaned. I ended up paying $65 for this disaster and left feeling really dissatisfied. I do not recommend this place at all!

1st time at Beauty on 9, I went for their head spa treatment & a Blow out. I did not know what to expect but it was fantastic from start to finish. I can't say enough about the total experience and Vicki was awesome. Looking forward to going back!

What a HORRIBLE experience. The owner gave my wife a supposed manicure and did a horrific job .we asked for her to fix her nails as there was still much dry skin on the sides of her fingers. When asked she said “ NO , TOO BAD “ ! We are appalled and warn anyone to go at your own risk . We do not suggest wasting your money . She even insulted my wife and laughed . What a disgusting “ nail dump .
