PSA request a ring light for your appointment. I made an appointment specifically requesting blue black hair color. From the moment the service started, I maintained clear and consistent communication with my stylist, Marissa, letting her know multiple times that the color was neither blue nor black. She reapplied developer/toner and did what she felt was necessary during the appointment to try to achieve the requested result. Unfortunately, after the color was processed, washed, and blow-dried, the final result did not reflect blue black at all. My hair still showed brown and black, with brown being very visible. For context, my previous color was brown, and the entire purpose of this appointment was to eliminate the brown and go blue black. At checkout, there were clients in the lobby who agreed with what I was seeing — brown. I even requested a ring light so the light could bounce off my hair and make the color more visible, because staff did not want to acknowledge what I was clearly seeing. The salon lighting is honestly horrendous, which only made the situation worse. I paid $200 and sat in the chair for 4 hours, yet did not receive the color I asked for. I was offered to “come back,” but that is not an option for me. I don’t live in the area, I’m not flexible with my schedule, and I don’t have another 4 hours, plus gas and time, to give away. That is the entire reason I made an appointment — to get it done that day. On top of that, the stylist repeatedly dropped the blow dryer, which made me extremely nervous. I am genuinely afraid of electrical malfunctions, and this felt very amateur and unsafe. There was also black dye all over my face and ears, which was completely preventable. I’ve been coloring my hair for 20+ years. My usual stylist was unavailable, so I decided to try a new salon — which turned out to be a big mistake. I requested a discounted price due to the service not being completed as requested, but that did not happen. I did still tip Marissa, though not significantly, because I was (and still am) very upset with the outcome. I am not trying to bash this salon or be difficult. I am simply expressing my experience because time and trust. I am requesting a partial refund and would like management to reach out to me to address this situation.

Sat with marissa and she did an amazing job. I told her I wanted a dark red but still ‘natural’ and a simple layered hair. And she exceeded my expectations! It’s like she read my mind!! Also when washing my hair I felt so calm after coming from work. She brings good vibes!

I can’t say enough good things about this salon! I went in for a color correction after a terrible attempt at a “balayage” at another salon. Jessica spent many hours working so hard on my hair and the transformation was so impressive and beautiful. She is very caring and talented, I’m incredibly thankful to have found this salon 🩷

Maria is a phenomenal stylist. It was my first visit to the salon. I asked for a butterfly cut, gloss, and toner to remove brassiness from my highlights. Maria executed my request amazingly. She tailored the cut and layers to frame my face beautifully. She explained each product and technique she used very patiently. I can’t recommend her and the salon enough! Everyone was very friendly.

My first visit to Bella Salon was with my new forever stylist, Jessica Novak. I hadn't had time for self care in a while. Jessica made me feel like I was at a spa for the day, instead of a salon! She used her magic wand to completely transform my look! Her work is artistic. I love my new hair style, new color and cut! She is also such a nice person; I left completely relaxed, with my look and spirit refreshed! Just like the feeling you have at the end of a spa day. Thank you so much, Jessica
