C&L Nail Salon

I visited C&L Nails today because I was traveling in a couple days, I normally go to my personal nail tech but unfortuantely she had an emergency. So I picked C & L due to the review they had hoping for a relaxing manicure and pedicure. Unfortunately, my experience did not go as such Firstly, the nail color I chose was not what I received. I opted for a neutral pink, but ended up with a reddish-orange shade that was sheer and not at all what I expected or wanted. This lack of attention to detail was disappointing, also, my nails were filed poorly and I had a very boxy appearance to my nails which I didn't like. . While at the salon, I noticed the professionalism was lacking. I observed staff members speaking negatively about customers in their language, which I found unprofessional and disrespectful, they would start speaking In their language immediately after a customer would say or do something. And, It made me uncomfortable and undermined the experience. To add to the frustration, after paying $90 for a manicure and pedicure, I decided not to leave a tip due to my dissatisfaction. However, I was being pressured to tip, which left me feeling coerced and uncomfortable. I decided instead of feeling forced I would take a picture of the Venmo they listed so they would actually allow me to leave the salon. It's unacceptable to force customers to tip when the service did not meet expectations. I ultimately had to visit another salon (which I am not going to name ) to fix my manicure, where I received the service I originally expected from C&L. The contrast in professionalism and customer care was stark. To make matters worse, I received a call from C&L while at the other nail salon. They called me to inform that they couldn't close their shop until I sent the tip over. I've never experienced such pressure regarding tipping—it felt overly insistent and uncomfortable. While I typically tip generously for good service, being compelled to do so in this manner was quite unusual and unlike anything I have experienced before. I have attached photos showcasing the color I originally selected (#155) and how it appeared on my nails, along with the boxy shaping of how my nails were filed. Additionally, I included a photo of the color correction done by the other salon to address this issue which made me so much more satisfied. This experience has left me reluctant to return to C&L or recommend it to others seeking quality service and professionalism. I am not coming back since I do have my personal nail tech, but I hope this feedback encourages them to improve their service standards and ensure all customers receive the experience they deserve.

Terrible work. They don’t stand behind their horrible job. Dip and top coat lifted in about 8 days and they wanted to charge me to fix their mistakes. Tried to blame me and say I didn’t wear gloves to do housework. How do they know what I do and don’t do. Never had this problem before. Lucky they got 2 stars.

I tried this salon for the first time today and am so happy I did. I had to get gel polish removed and regular polish applied. My nail tech (Jenny) was awesome! She was meticulous in cleaning around my cuticles and cutting/shaping my nails, and my new polish looks perfect! The price was great, and the bonus neck/back massage while my nails were drying was an extra treat! Despite other reviews which mentioned the salon not being clean, I found it to be very clean. So glad I tried a new salon - highly recommend!

I’ve gotten a full set done here a few times and brought my nieces for normal manicures. My nails always turn out super well done and they’re patient with all of the requests I have!

The place is clean despite the decor being a little dated. The gel manicure took an hour and cost $25. I was able to get in and out during my lunch break. I will definitely be making this my biweekly place. It was super quiet at that hour too, no wait.
