STAR NAILS Salon Warren Ohio

I just started going to Star Nails in Warren and I’m impressed. I see Sophie and she is incredible—her designs are creative, flawless, and she’s scrupulous about shaping my nails exactly how I like them. The salon itself is large with many techs, and even though it gets busy (a good sign!), I’ve never had to wait for an appointment. I also had a pedicure done here that was really nice and relaxing. Clean environment, great service, and beautiful results every time. Highly recommend, especially if you want detailed nail art! ❤️

Not only is she incredibly talented, but her attention to detail is on another level. Every line, every sparkle, every bit of nail art was done with so much precision and creativity. She really listens to what you want and somehow makes it look even better than you imagined. If you’re looking for someone who’s professional, artistic, and truly passionate about their craft, this is your girl. I can’t recommend her enough. I’m already excited for my next appointment! 💅✨

Updated review (original is below): After a conversation with the stores's manager, who reached out after seeing my review, I was asked to allow them a chance to correct my nails that I was unhappy with (free of charge). I went back a few days later and was seen a few minutes after walking in. This time, I had a male nail tech who's name is Jayden (who was fantastic by the way). He was pleasant to talk to and made sure every nail looked perfect. He took his time, and was very gentle during the process. It is obvious that he takes pride in his work, which is what makes a great tech. Even though I didn't have to pay to get my nails fixed, he received a large tip from me, and I would recommend Jayden to anyone planning to go to Star Nails. All companies and employees have bad days, so mistakes and unhappy customers are bound to happen. However, what seperates a great company from a bad one, is when they acknowledge those days and offer to make them right by their customers. Thank you Star Nails for being this kind of company. New photos have been attached and have a yellow star in the bottom right. _________________________ Original review (2/5 Stars): I was highly disappointed with my visit to Star Nails, especially after seeing such good reviews about this place. I rarely leave "bad" reviews, (check my profile) but felt as though this one was required. From the moment I sat down, to when I was paying, my nail tech was nothing but unpleasant to me. When I arrived I had spent about 15-20 minutes looking over colors trying to decide what I liked. I'm a very pale person so it's a struggle finding "fall" colors that look good on me. After finally finding a color I loved, I wasn't made aware that they in fact they did not have said color, until my tech came back with a slightly different shade (that looked awful on me). I tried to politely explain that the color she grabbed was not the one I wanted, but instead of trying to help me find a color, she just stared at me. After another 10 minutes of looking for a replacement color I was okay with, she explained that this new one was an extra $7. That's fine. Except for the fact that she mentioned it at least 10 times as if I wasn't going to pay her. During the prepping stage, when she was trimming and filling, I pointed out that there were a few fingernails that didn't match the shape of the others (crooked, too long, etc). She gave me a blank stare and then quickly ran over them again. I literally picked up the file and fixed one of my nails when she walked away to get the gel. When my nails were finished, I again pointed out a few spots that were missing gel, yes they were small spots, but they were 'obviously noticeable' in my eyes. She rolled her eyes, huffed, and fixed only one of the spots. When I asked her to "please add gel to this spot" she said no. She literally gave me a blank stare and said no, and then told me my total and walked away from me. I've attached pictures to this review and circled the spots I am unhappy with. Extra: My best friend got her nails done here the same time as I, and her nail tech, Joseph, was phenomenal. He was funny, polite, and even helped me pick out colors that compliment my skin tone. Would definitely recommend asking for him when you come in!

My first time going there and I will DEFINITELY return!!! Clean facility, nice atmosphere. I had a prior acrylic set removed and a new acrylic set done. My lady OUT-DID herself, she made sure my nails were perfect. I went in with a photo idea but due to my personal time restraints, I had to change my idea. My nail tech was so kind, patient and gave her opinion about my changes in nail design. I'm still IN LOVE with what I got. If you've never been, go. And you get a discount if you pay in cash!!! .. That lady made my day, I wish I knew her name but I'll know her face. Thank you again!! 😊 🫶

As a person who has been to many, when I say I mean many nails salons. No place has ever done it like Star nails. Environment= clean, people= nice, nails= actually best nails ever. ALSO the prices are so reasonable unlike other places! Come here. Trust me come here.
