Vanda Nails

I have been to a few other nail salons since I moved here to Reno in August and was very disappointed with the quality of work & beginning to lose hope in finding a new salon. I decided to try this salon and so happy I did! This is by far the best! I had my nails done by Khim. So happy with the way they turned out! Will definitely be going back!

In 2025, how are nail techs messing up a multi-decades-old style? If I were a nail tech, I'd be too embarrassed to attempt a French manicure if I knew I'd be sending a client home with their hands like this. The nails weren't "cleaned" up as you can see around the edges. The white from the tips was smeared over most of the nails. It's like a child did it. Not to mention the "long nail fee" for long natural nails added during the appointment (it should have been mentioned over the phone when I made the appointment.) I don't know the woman's name who did my nails, but shame on her for wasting my time and money. I was obviously looking at my hands in a confused manner when she was painting the tips and she didn't ask if I liked it once. I don't understand the high rating. Even the customer service was subpar, other guests were offered beverages, I was not. When I asked the nail tech which dip powders looked more natural she redirected me to the swatches and had something slick to say in another language when I explained that not all powders look like the swatch. I also don't like the fact that they soak your hands in acetone, like our skin doesn't absorb it, that's so toxic. I only stayed because I was visiting my boyfriend from out of town and we were heading out of town. She still got a $10 tip, which I regret because I'll have to get another manicure; I can't look at this terrible job much longerand it hasn't even been 24 hours.

Such a great experience! I had an appointment this morning for an acrylic fill and Kim did a wonderful job! I ended up paying $85 + tip. Great prices and good atmosphere!

ABSOLUTE BEST NAIL SALON I HAVE BEEN TO Tracy and Tom did my nails today and I have been to hundreds of nail salons and I am just in town for a wedding and I was blown away by the amazing service and attention to detail! Tom was SUPER detail oriented and absolutely fabulous! Tracy overheard me say my phone was almost dead offered to charge my phone! My nails look wonderful and I have never had such a painless nail experience (you know how sometimes people are a little rough NOT here!!!) Very happy to have found this place! I will come here every time I visit!!

The tech Khim very professional friendly the team so friendly and welcoming. my daughter is 10 and wanted the experience of her 1st nails for back to school and she can’t be more excited about the results. Thank you again Khim and Vanda Nail
