Amazing experience!! They were very busy this morning but I was in a chair seconds after walking in the door. I had a gel pedicure and a full set of lash extensions placed for $120. Wonderful price and the quality is 10/10!! This will be my normal nail salon from now on. (Ignore my eyebrows I will be going back for an eyebrow tint asap!)

This is honestly better than jimmys customer service alone I would like to personally thank Linda , Mia , and Evan for getting me together and just being super helpful and polite I love the vibes here and I would honestly come back every time , I love galaxy hands downnn 😭

READ THIS!!! I have been a loyal customer at Galaxy Nails for years, but after my recent visits I can no longer return. On July 29, 2025, my pedicure was painful and poorly done — the tech burned me with hot towels straight from the warmer. I texted the number posted in the salon with my receipt and complaint as i was instructed but received no response. On August 13, 2025, I went for a fill-in. The service itself seemed fine, but my nails burned for 20–30 minutes afterwards. A week later, green spots began appearing under multiple nails. When I returned on September 1st to have them removed, 6 out of 10 nails had visible green spots on the nail bed. Urgent care confirmed it was a fungal infection. Instead of addressing the problem, staff insisted it was “normal,” blamed “moisture” (even though none of my nails were lifting), and gave inconsistent explanations. At one point I was told it was fungus but “not their fault.” To make matters worse, once the acrylics were removed, I told Linda that the male tech had already tried filing the green spots off and it did not work. She insisted I come to her station, saying she was sure she could remove it with her electric file. After she filed two nails, it was obvious it wasn’t coming off and my nails were being filed too thin, so I stopped her. Now those fingers are sore from the over-filing. When I finally spoke with one of the other owners, he admitted it was their responsibility but said he would not provide the salon’s insurance information. Instead, he told me to bring him my medical bills and prescriptions directly and he would “just pay them.” He also admitted that this “happens all the time” and the salon regularly loses customers over situations like this. This is not only unprofessional but unsafe — medical bills contain private information and should only be handled properly through insurance channels, not handed over to a stranger. That is unacceptable — customers should not be told to handle infections privately rather than through proper channels. The biggest issue here is that I left with something I did not come in with. This was completely avoidable with proper sanitation and application techniques. What if I had a disease that compromised my immune system? A fungal infection may sound small to some, but for certain people this could have led to serious health consequences. Fungal infections don’t appear out of nowhere — they spread from unsanitary tools or contaminated products. The dismissive attitude and lack of accountability are just as troubling as the infection itself. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Missouri State Board of Cosmetology. Customers deserve clean, safe service — not excuses.

I went to use my 10% “long time no see discount”, just because I wanted to give them another try, they always extra charge me so i try to avoid them, anyways, I took my daughters with me, but unfortunately got burned again, we showed first picture to guy in table #9, he gave us a price but didn’t do nails as picture, I said he was missing the dots and he said he didn’t see them and added $15 to the price given already, i said that wasn’t my fault, he got all defensive instead of apologizing trying to blame for his mistake, my daughter really wanted that design and he kept repeating he would do but I had to add the difference, so I had no choice, and this is why I always ask before, my other daughter wanted pink and lady in table #13 didn’t put any pink nail polish, she only put clear nail polish on top of powder, I didn’t know that until my daughter told me at home, I was arguing with the other guy, my third daughter wanted French nails and got did all white instead, she liked it but wanted French nails, she was far from me so didn’t say anything until they were done, and to end, my nails look more like toe nails, picture doesn’t show well but the ends are just too big, I don’t like them and everytime I told the guy he would just filed twice and be done so not worth arguing, I will just fix them at home. I just know we are finally done with this place.

Mike is the absolute best!!! Over 20 years experience. I literally wait for him to come in or wait for him to be at work. Best nail repair hands down! Galaxy nail Bar has also stepped up their game. Good drinks and ambiance!
