Bliss Nail Bar

Well, I mean… Came in today with a friend, I watched all the talk and wanted to check this place out for sure. Really wanted to get in with Shawn but he stay booked so I looked over everyone’s IG account’s a found one that I thought would be good. I just had a fill maybe a week ago back home where I’m from (here visiting) my tech didn’t get all my old polish off my nails so you can still see it on some of my nails, the flower that was done the more I look at it, it’s not a flower it looks like a starfish, the over spray left on my fingers was bad I had to scrap it off with my nails as it looked bad. My tech was shaky, didn’t match the colors up to the design I wanted at all, my tech filled my nails, did a fast job doing it, I mean I’m not all the way upset but I’m not happy either at all.. I paid $90 on top of the deposit and left a tip also.. Everyone was really nice but I just wasn’t really that happy at all. Coming from so far to somewhere people talked up and is all over the internet I expected more, maybe that was my bad. Next time I will book with Shawn far out when I know I’ll be back up here.. I’ll give one more chance but that is all.. But for what I paid I should be a lot more happier then what I am.. But I appreciate everyone at the shop for being so kind and thank you!!! I’m really not happy at all. I thought maybe if I gave it a few days but nope. My nails I paid a lot of money for here don’t look anything like I wanted done.. Now when I return home to Alabama tomorrow I have to go and have them redone cause I can’t with these ones. I’m really picky and just feel like it didn’t matter. The more I look the more Ashley left my old polish on some of my nails and you can see it. For paying $105 plus I gave a $10 tip these ain’t worth that at all… Just not happy to have flown all the way from Alabama to Michigan and have some crappy nails done that don’t even look good, to have to fly back home to have them redone is crazy. I won’t be coming back here even tho I said I would I won’t. All the techs should treat ALL Customers the same not pick and choose.. I specifically picked Ashley because her work was good on IG, but her work on my nails did not even look like anything on her IG these look worse

Shawn, the owner of Bliss Nail Bar, does outstanding work! He can create any design you can think of. He works Sundays, which is a huge bonus! Great pedicures as well. I highly recommend Bliss Nail Bar! Listen, if you have a theme you want Shawn can do it! Beyonce’ nails for her concert were a huge hit! When I traveled to New York, and Turks and Caicos , same! When I wanted a picture of my Savannah cat, he captured her perfectly, some if her docile moments, some of her moments where she is giving a hiss….. this nail ARTIST is unbelievable. I’m starting to book months out at a time for fear I won’t get in every two weeks for my new theme!! 💅

Always and Only book with Ben. My Nails are ALWAYS PERFECT, looks and durability 10/10 ALWAYS! , I swear I always hit my nails on stuff and never have a gem come off or any problems even when I am rough with them myself . He always makes getting my nails done a fun time definitely a lot of laughs , Ben is truly the best ! I recommend Ben for the best nails for sure 🥰!!

Very cute atmosphere! Lot of nail techs on staff. Everyone is very friendly a great job. Kyle is a nice person great work!

I had got my nails done Thursday afternoon. Within three days almost all of the glitter on my nails was gone and missing my decals fell off and a nail literally broke. The acrylic job was so poorly done, I’ve never had worse. He did not even clean up under my nails after. When my nails were getting done I told Tai the nail tech my nails were uneven but he said they were fine. I called before the 5 day fix fee and they said it would still cost money. Now I have to pay another salon to fix them. These were 95 dollar nails. The salon was loud, my chair was broken and uncomfortable. DO NOT GO HERE. This is the laziest “salon” I’ve ever been to. I got my nails done for my birthday and they were ruined. EDIT: now my nails are lifting. I’ve never had ACRYLICS lift after 8 days. Tai is terrible
