A-T NAILS

I typically don’t leave reviews but I was pretty baffled at my manicure. Looking at the reviews, you may have better luck if you’re going in for acrylic or shellac, but I do not recommend this salon for a regular manicure. The coats are uneven and they did not allow my nails to dry in between coats. They look quite bumpy. I even had to ask her to redo two nails because I could see my nail underneath and the application was streaky and she only added another coat which made the nails look bumpier. I just left the salon and am already noticing bubbles popping up on my nails. It honestly looks worse than if I did them myself, and the pictures don’t quite capture the texture. Unfortunately I am leaving town this evening otherwise I would go back and ask to have them redone. Update: It’s day 2 and the polish has started chipping and one of my nails broke.

I got an acrylic fill and had Quinn as my nail tech. He was great and was very helpful with nail care education:) my nails are perfect

Unfortunately my two big toes got infected after a pedicure. I have ingrown toe nails and specifically go to salons to get them fixed so they don’t cause pain. No other foot related problems. I’m not sure if they got cut too short or what but a few days after my appointment I was in pain and when I press on my toes there is liquid that comes out 😬 This has never happened to me before. I really hope they take this as a learning experience and train everyone how to work with ingrown toe nails. Other than that this place is lovely. Good environment, kind people. I just may need to go to urgent care to make this infection go down. Hopefully all the tools at the salon were clean? Update: they were not clean. Toe turned green and had a pulse, and I was prescribed medication.
