2025-07-14I love this place. Jen, Henri and Lana do great work. Are always polite and sweet. Lana is so good at painting designs freehand like the flowers. I love seeing their little doggies too. I’ve never had to wait even when I’m a little late for my appointment. Thank you!!

2025-07-05I went to #1 Nails for the first time just to take my mother. She got her pedicure with polish and I ended up getting a men’s pedicure with polish. They were friendly, clean and did a good job. I know we will go back for sure.

2025-05-17I was really disappointed, these were supposed to be for my birthday and now I have to go get them redone. They are bumpy, unevenly shaped, poorly shaped, completely rushed. I was there for just over an hour. I shouldn't have paid 85 dollars for these. Not worth the time or money.

2025-02-12Very unsatisfied with my nails there is bubbles underneath the polish there’s white nail polish all over my fingers. Some of the nails are trimmed way too short on the side. They’re falling off my nail very unsatisfied used to go here multiple times and never really had a problem $75 is a lot for something like this will not be going back unfortunately.

2025-08-14I came in for a gel pedicure. The woman at the front (likely the manager/owner) was very sweet, welcoming, and inviting. Wait Time & Setup: I waited about 15 minutes before being seated—which was a very short amount of time & was nice. My nail tech was a gentleman. When I put my feet in the bowl, the water was cold/lukewarm. I asked for hotter water, and he happily adjusted it — it became perfectly toasty, which I appreciated. Hygiene & Technique Concerns: • I didn’t see where the tools came from. They weren’t individually packaged, and I didn’t notice if they came out of the salon’s sanitization chamber. (I’m in town visiting and my normal salon back home always had individually packaged kits.) • He started working on my foot almost immediately — before it soaked for even 1 minute — which felt rushed. • While trimming my nails, he clipped my skin. I jerked my foot back and said “ow” pretty loudly. He didn’t apologize and didn’t become more careful afterward. • A few minutes later, he took a Dremel tool (with an old head, not new) and tried to use it directly on my skin to file calluses. I stopped him immediately, saying, “No, do not put a Dremel tool on my skin — absolutely not.” • He then started mocking me by sarcastically picking up each tool and chuckling, asking, “Is this tool okay? Is this tool okay?” I responded seriously each time (e.g., “Yes, the scrubber is okay because it’s meant for feet/nails”). • He skipped properly treating the dry skin on my feet and only applied lotion at the end. Ending the Service: At this point, I told him I didn’t want to continue the service. He asked if I was sure — I confirmed yes. By then, he had: • Scrubbed my feet (briefly) • Trimmed my nails (and cut me) • Tried to use a Dremel on my skin • Mocked me during the process • Left dry skin untreated • Rushed the entire service (about 15 minutes before polish stage) The Spider Incident: When I went to put my shoes back on, a nickel-sized spider was on them. I jumped back and pointed it out. He tried to kill it, but it ran away. He laughed at me for being startled and waved his hands as if to say “oh well.” Pricing Dispute: At checkout, the manager said it was $60. I explained I hadn’t gotten gel or polish. She double-checked with the tech, then lowered it to $50. I explained he cut my skin, tried to use a Dremel on it, mocked me, and there was a spider on my shoe — and that I’d stopped the service early. She confirmed with the tech that I stopped the service and then she changed the price to $45. I offered to pay $20–25 for the portion done, but she refused and said it was $45. I asked again; she then said, “I’ll give it to you for free.” I didn’t want it free — just fairly priced. I again mentioned I am happy to pay for what he did—which is $25 worth. She refused to take my payment and said “I’m giving it to you for free.” During this, the staff were speaking loudly to each other in another language, which made me uncomfortable. Friend’s Experience: My friend’s pedicure (with a female tech) looked great, though the tech didn’t ask what shape she wanted and just made her nails round instead of her usual soft square. My friend was okay with it this time, as she’s not super picky. Overall: My experience with the male tech would be zero stars. Because my friend’s experience was good, I’m rating 2 stars total. If you go, avoid the male tech and request a female technician.
