The Maven and The Muse

This was my first experience at this salon. I was in a panic because my blonde was fading and I do not have a "go to" hairstylist in Massachusetts. I called many places and everyone had a million requirements to go from blonde to chocolate brown in one sitting. However, I magically found this salon since I went trick o treating in Stoneham and saw it a few days prior. Erica, the owner picked up the phone and was super positive and informative on what I wanted to do. When I arrived I was seen by Kailah ( who was super graceful, patient and honest) Erica gave me a realistic review of my hair and how close they could get it to my desired color. She was very upfront, honest and professional. Erica was guiding Kailah along the way and together they got me what I wanted. It's rare to see an owner so involved in all aspects of the salon. You can tell they truly care about the products they use and the service they provide. I am happy to say that I will go back here for future work to my hair in MA. Kailah is very good a her job and a great listener to what the customer wants. This is a salon that uses a team work approach to each customer highlighting the importance of good leadership.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Erika! She is truly the best hairdresser I’ve ever had. I am very particular when it comes to my hair and usually go into full fight-or-flight mode at the hair dressers, but with Erika, I feel completely at ease. She does the calligraphy cut on me, and every single time it’s perfect. The shape, the movement, the way it grows out it’s unlike any haircut I’ve ever had. I happily drive an hour and a half just to see her because she’s that good. She listens, she understands exactly what I’m looking for, and she delivers every time. If you’re searching for someone who is meticulous, skilled, and will give you the best haircut of your life, Erika is it. Absolutely worth the trip!

Grace is so sweet and very knowledgeable. She really listened to me and was very confident in her ability. I tried the calligraphy cut for the first time and so far love the cut. She did an outstanding job on my color. The owner Erica greeted me as it was my first time and I was given a welcome gift. The salon has a great open feel and love the hanging hairdryers!

I absolutely love this salon and all of the staff! They have a professionalism that I have never experienced elsewhere. Pricing is always discussed and transparent, the services are top notch and the environment is clean and classy. Erica is my primary stylist for cut and color and I LOVE her, but I will confidently book with anyone when I need a blow dry or an appointment on short notice.
