Nicolo Salon

I have been going to Nicolo Salon for years now… long enough to go from brunette to blond and blond back to brunette. I actually had a color for a while that people would stop me on the street to tell me how amazing my hair looked. Jill is the most amazing person. When you get your hair done by her you feel like Hollywood walking out. She also gives you a lovely overall experience. Marissa is wonderful and gives you a fabulous spa feeling during your appointment. The Nicolo Salon experience as a whole makes you feel important. You are greeted, asked if you would like anything from soda to cappuccino and there are snacks. The wait is never long to see your stylist. They are nice, knowledgeable, and provide a wonderful experience.

I absolutely love this place and would go there again and again. Since moving to the U.S., I've never had anyone else cut my hair. I had a great stylist before, but when I met Katelyn Herrera, who did my hair now, I was really impressed. When my previous stylist left, I felt nervous about whether Katelyn could properly color my hair or if she would cut it too short. However, during my consultation with her, I immediately felt at ease. She asked basic but important questions and even brought up images on her phone to ensure we were on the same page regarding the colors I wanted. Since I usually sit without my glasses after getting my hair colored, she kindly provided me with a plastic cover so I could use my phone while I waited. With Katelyn, I didn't even notice how quickly time passed. The staff and everyone else were so nice and kept complimenting my hair, which made me feel great!e feel so warm inside, and they were so sweet to leave snacks while I was waiting. I would give it a 20/5 if I could because it is simply that amazing and my new hairstylist is my absolute Favourite. Can't wait to come for my appointment next year.

I always have such a great experience at Nicolo salon. I just had an appointment with Katelyn and can’t believe how great my hair came out. My hairs VERY curly and I requested a blowout which can be a challenge with my curls and frizz. She did a wonderful treatment on my hair first to help the frizz and she did a perfect blowout with some curls. My hair looked smooth, soft and felt so healthy. I was so happy with how it turned out. I’ll definitely be seeing her again!

I am from out of state and have been hoping to find a great Boston area salon/stylist that feels right. Katelyn at Nicolo is just that! She was so sweet and did the perfect job fixing my blonde highlights that had grown out/discolored with Sun In. I explained what I wanted to fix and what my desired outcome was, showed her a few pictures, and it’s perfect! She answered all my questions throughout the process, always checking in to make sure I was happy. In addition to great staff, the salon offers refreshments (snacks, beverages) and is very comfy and clean. I found the pricing to be competitive for the area and services. Such a happy customer and I feel like me again! Thanks all!

I saw Katelyn today for an all over color and a trim! My color looks amazing and the cut is exactly what I asked for!! I told Katelyn my hair was thinning and she did a reparative treatment, a cut accommodating my needs, and she recommended a shampoo! I couldn’t be happier with my results today and I can’t wait to see her again!
