I have been a client at Dream Nails and Spa for several months, and based on positive reviews, I specifically requested Helen for my appointments. I appreciate her flexibility in accommodating my often last-minute scheduling needs. As someone with over a decade of experience in nail care, I have frequently sought new salons in pursuit of satisfactory results. However, my experience with Helen has been consistently exceptional. Helen's skill and attention to detail are remarkable, as she consistently delivers exactly what I envision. Beyond her technical expertise, Helen is a pleasure to interact with. She is approachable, gentle, and creates a welcoming atmosphere that makes each visit the highlight of my week. I highly recommend Helen to anyone seeking high-quality nail services. Her talent, professionalism, and personable nature ensure a truly satisfying experience.

Received a chemical burn from a “gel softener” product being used by the technician. i asked for the manager several times and asked for a card. Nothing was provided. The tech was wonderful but she dropped the product on my skin and caused a burning sensation. not understanding I was in pain she put alcohol on it. Instead of immediately washing it with soap. In the end Kenny put a balm on it to soothe. All that we offered was $5 off. Documented this in case of worsening.

Most of the women do a very good job but everytime I get the man (I think he’s the owner or manager or something, but I’m not sure) he does a bad job. It’s always rushed like he doesn’t want to do it. I asked for a sheer nude. He pulled out a sheer pink. I said nude beige sheer. I showed him an example photo. He just handed me the palette. I’m like but this doesn’t tell me if it’s sheer. Now the last time I had trouble finding the perfect color, the woman who did my nails knew exactly what I was talking about and helped me find the right shade. He just kept tossing the palette at me. And told me my reference photo was powder. I know for certain it wasn’t powder because they were my nails. I kept repeating myself and he didn’t understand. How are you going to work at a nail salon and not know what products you have? The photo with the in n out is the picture I showed him. This was the most basic thing and he would deliver despite me asking multiple times and trying nail polishes with zero help from him. And you can’t really tell in the picture, but it’s streaky. A lot of their nail polish is not good quality. I was getting frustrated so I’m like check me out. I’m ready to go. They will not get another dime out of me. Also just so people know this place charges for cutting your nails down and they charge for shape. And that’s ridiculous to me. I know they’re not the only salon to do it but just a heads up.

Ling was my tech, She gave me the most amazing pedicure. She was very attentive. And professional.. any issues she saw. She fixed without having to ask.. I will most certainly return to her.. my pedi was worth every cent I paid…. Thank you so much for professional Service…

Extremely Disappointed and Disrespected I’ve been going to Helen since her days at the previous White Marsh location and have always tried to support her. Since she moved to the new location, I’ve visited twice, and unfortunately, both times there were clear sanitation issues and other problems. My most recent visit on Thursday was the final straw. I called ahead, and Helen confirmed my appointment for 2:30 PM. Later she texted saying she only had 3:45 PM available. I reminded her that she had already confirmed 2:30, and she said that was fine. When I arrived on time, I still had to wait 20 minutes because she was finishing someone else’s pedicure — which happens often. Once she started, she told me the color I wanted wasn’t available but that she’d use the closest match, which I was fine with. However, when it came time to do my nails, she suddenly said she didn’t have any of the supplies needed for the design I had sent her in advance. When I asked why she didn’t mention that earlier, she gave multiple excuses about being in a new place. I told her to just get it as close as she could. Throughout the service, she rushed through everything — both the pedicure and my nails — and it clearly showed in the results. I had to repeatedly ask her to fix crooked lines that were much thicker than the design I showed her. She became visibly irritated, saying it was the product and that her hands couldn’t make straight lines. When I politely said the lines looked uneven and much wider than in the photo, she snapped, raised her voice, and said, “What do you want me to do? Tell me! I don’t have time for this.” When we finished, I calmly asked that in the future she please let me know ahead of time if she doesn’t have the supplies or can’t do the design. Instead of responding professionally, she began yelling again — saying it wasn’t her fault, that I was making her head hurt, and that I needed to pay and leave. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by someone I’ve supported for years. I’ve brought several people to her and always spend over $150 with a 20% tip, but after this experience, I will never return. No paying customer deserves to be rushed, dismissed, or humiliated for simply asking for communication and basic respect.
