Naturally Nailed Restorative Foot & Nail Care

This was my first time visiting the salon and my nail tech was sick. Prices are high and services were average. My manicure was not the best and when I brought a problem with the service to the technician she admitted that she missed some skin around my cuticle but did not offer to repair it. I asked if you could get designs with Dazzle Dry nail polish, she said yes , showed me the art work but did not ask if I wanted this on my nails. I arrived early for my appointment and was not offered anything to drink or any snacks. I noticed a customer getting these items once I left so I asked if I could I have something to drink and a snack since I had been at the salon for over 2 hours. For $170, this service was not worth driving over an hour, wirh subpar customer service. I did share my thoughts with the owner however she was servicing another client. Supporting black owned businesses is something I enjoy however this experience made me regret doing so. I have experienced better service in Virginia and In North Carolina. It would be honorable if received some of my money back for not being satisfied with the service.

Lakisha has continued to improve her timing and quality of service. As they say the “proof is in the pudding”. My favorite part of having services at Naturally Nailed is the attention to detail of my natural nails during the manicure process proceeds the same amount of detail of the gel polish. I will forever praise Naturally Nailed

I have never met a more meticulous manicurist than LaKisha. She is thorough and does an excellent job. I’m so happy I found this place and have her as my nail artist!!

A little pricey, but you get what you pay for! Was able to get a thickened toenail reduction, improving the condition and visual esthetic of my feet. Excellent service and products to keep your feet moisturized. I will be back!

🚨 Long review alert 🚨 I have been following Naturally Nailed Nail Salon on Instagram for yearssss! I was enthralled by Angela’s level of expertise, I watched her transform toenails and feet from mummified appendages to soft ,supple living extremities with excellent capillary refill! Fast forward to the summer of 2024, when my friend kept telling me to go to his godsister for pedicure services when I kept saying I missed getting my toes done. I was like “yeah, no thank you; I’m not trying to go to nobody’s little sister’s basement shop to get set up with a staph infection or Hepatitis.” The Lord shut my mouth up real quick when he introduced me to his godsister, Angela, the owner of Naturally Nailed Salon! On the outside I played it cool (I didn’t want sis to think I was a stalker), but inside I was fanning out lol. Please understand that as an RN of now 20 years, I stopped getting pedicures at traditional nail shops long ago, and began caring for my own feet at home. I miss the pretty polish colors, precise techniques, and designs. But I’ll take knowing I’m doing what’s best for my body over aesthetics any day. Now I care for my youngest son full time, but I promised myself if I had enough expendable money, I’d go to Naturally Nailed for services to get my minor ingrown toenail issue corrected once and for all! Welp, that day came sooner than expected… But not for me, 9 year old son is on the spectrum and the medications make his weight fluctuate greatly. In turn, he gets ingrown toenails like his mama. On the first podiatry visit, he had an ingrown toenail root removal procedure. However, my son still experiences some issues with that toe and the other. I care for them at home and abate any infection that tries to set between visits. The podiatrist always says I’ve done a great job and to continue to treat at home as I’ve been doing. And to do the rolled cotton technique. That technique drives my child crazy because the cotton never stays put! I’ve tried bandaids, researched articles, YouTube, papers, medscape, etc… nothing worked lol. I messaged Angela about these little toes and she encouraged me to bring him in. I prayed about my finances and asked for wisdom, I know Jireh will provide. A few dollars now to correct a small issue is better than several thousand later to treat a chronic illness. I finally scheduled him for Onyfix nail correction services. I prepared him by telling I’m what to expect and showed him some of her IG videos. When the day came, Angela was awesome!! Her salon is beautiful and spotless (I peeped the autoclaved tools), her technique is flawless, and she stands behind her work! My son loves her, he even remembers her name (chyle, he doesn’t like most folks and is very slow to warm up). She was patient, answered ALLLLLLLL of his questions and made sure he was comfortable and his sensory needs were met! She even gave him free reign over her daughter’s Netflix account 🤫. He said he didn’t feel any pain or discomfort. Now, every day he says “mommy, look at my toes!” Angela gave very thorough post care instructions and signs to contact her for. We will 100% be back for round two!
