Juve Beauty Lounge

i have been coming to juve for a couple of years — we moved to bethesda a couple of years ago, and i tried out several nail salons, and juve is the only one i come back to. i get acrylic sets with gel, and have gotten them from both kelly and crystal. they’re both amazing, but i have had crystal most frequently, and have been very happy every time. she’s quick, kind, my nails always look great, and they last well over a month. juve is also super easy to book appointments with (yay online option!), and i have always been treated warmly by the front desk. definitely recommend juve for nail treatments (and if i find myself in the market for botox etc, will definitely be trying juve first!)

My nail tech was super nice and did a fantastic job on my gel manicure! The front desk receptionist was very welcoming! Overall I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back for more services in the future. I love that the location is walking distance from the Metro.

Near perfect gel manicure. I was looking for a new salon after the previous one of 15 years was losing in quality. Im fussy about my cuticle cut. I like it done in small little nibbles so that the cuticle doesn’t get dry and ‘white’ after just a couple of days following the manicure. My technician listened to me without making me feel judged :-) The gel polish stayed strong two weeks later and the cuticle remained generally fresh for nearly 2 weeks. This is my new nail salon….

I'll start this by saying they have a somewhat limited color selection compared to some other nail salons, but every color they do have that I'm aware of comes in regular, gel and dip. I always get the dip nails with gel nail art. It's somewhat rare to find a place that does nail art on dip nails. I've had very good luck with shaping of the free edge of my nail, as well as consistently thin and natural looking shape of the nail itself on top of my regular nail. They last very well. The salon itself is well maintained and comfortable. Their website is easy to use, and while I always make a reservation because I tend to get a lot of services at once, while I'm in the shop there tends to be a fairly even mix of walk-ins and other people with reservations. My son has had children's manicures or pedicures here several times, and even gel polish once or twice. They work well with children and did not make a big deal about the fact that he is a boy. The waxing is better than average, though I will say that if I only wanted waxing services I'd probably go to a place that specialized more in that. They're fast though, and my skin tends to not get irritated which speaks to good technique.

The brow wax I received by Diamond is amazing! She took her time, and did a great job! I will absolutely be returning in 2 weeks! Thanks so much Diamond!
