Reflections Nails

Lanny is absolutely amazing! I can’t say enough about her talent and creativity — every single time I leave her chair, I’m obsessed with my nails. She has an incredible eye for detail and always brings my ideas to life even better than I imagined. Whether it’s something simple and elegant or full-on nail art magic, she impresses me every time. Not only is her work flawless, but she’s also so sweet, patient, and professional. It’s clear she genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in every design. I constantly get compliments on my nails, and I always tell people — go see Lanny! She’s the best there is.

I love coming here!! I recently moved into the area from PA, and searching for a new nail salon was tough, but once I found reflections, I will always come here! Tyler does such a great job and pays such attention to detail, he always does a great job with my nails! Could not be happier with my new nail salon!

Response to the owner’s response (based on the lack of respect given in his follow up to my text message to him and original review): “I like to dig in my garden”? I urge you as the consumer to review the owner’s response and determine if it even makes sense. No, I have never gone 7-8 weeks between appointments. 5 at most, although even that is rare. And no, I do not like to dig in my garden. 😂 if this is how a loyal customer is treated, I’m not sure they have much concern for even new customers. I have since taken my business elsewhere- where I am respected and am not charged as much. As a fellow business owner, I adhere to the “customer is always right” motto. Not every business owner treats their customers similarly. It’s your money and time; you have the power to determine how to spend it. Had the response to my review been different, I would have been happy to increase the rating to 4 or 5 stars. Original review: I thought long and hard about whether to leave this review, but in the end, I decided I should. I had been going to this nail salon regularly for almost 2 years and I loved it and all the techs. Then, I got a new tech, who used the dremel to literally file my skin. It hurt so bad. I mentioned it to him and he said it’s my fault because I wanted my nails short. I asked to speak with the owner who has always been so great and he said to let the tech finish filing my nails, then I could come back later. I explained that he was filing my skin and it hurt, but was told to just let him. When I refused, the tech got up and walked away. Very unprofessional. I had client meetings booked the rest of the day and was stressed because I had gel overlay on my nails, no polish, and only half of my nails filed. I explained I couldn’t come back that day and was going away the next day for the weekend (for work) and begged for the owner to just finish filing the 5 nails. When he refused and sided with the employee, I left, feeling deeply hurt. I had hoped I could return later but apparently I am now no longer welcome. I’m not angry. I’m truly sad because this was a gem of a place and I know I won’t find another like it. The 3 stars is because I had 5 star experiences every single time until this last 1 star experience.

Best nail salon in town! I always receive excellent service and they do a phenomenal job on my nails! I even bring my young daughter to get her nails done and they always treat her with respect and do exactly what she wants. I have been going several months now and will be a life long customer.

I've tried several nail salons in the Berlin/West OC area and wow, Reflections does not disappoint. From their easy online booking system, to the clean, modern and relaxing decor, this salon has taken special care in creating a convenient, organized and relaxing environment filled with lovely plants, and like their sign in the back, Good Vibes. Even their music hits right, and I enjoyed that their space doesn't smell like a typical nail salon, again, I think they thought about ventilation. Shout out to Tyler, who quickly and expertly did my gel manicure, and with zero interruptions to his work, like some salons, where technicians answer phones or scroll their own. Left him a big tip because my nails were perfect and I was in and out of there in 45 minutes. Bonus, I paid cash and there's a small incentive for doing that. My daughter urged me to try Reflections, and now I have a new salon to call home. Oh, and great location by other stores like Aldi, Petsmart and Dollar Tree, among other places. Fair prices, too.
