This was unfortunately, one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a nail salon. The young lady wasn’t very welcoming when I came in the door, but not all places are so I didn’t think anything of it. When I asked her to soak off one of my nails versus ripping it off, she told me that I made her nervous. She also was servicing another customer and did not give any communication about when she would start my service, when we would be back to starting my service in between stops with the other client or anything. We did not start my service until about 20 minutes after I arrived, which was 10 minutes early for my appointment. When she finally did come over to do my nails, she let me know the price upfront, which I thought was great. She also noticed that one of my nails had lifted and had gotten dirty and she offered to repair it, letting me know what the additional price would be, and we agreed to that price. We also agreed to the shape of the nail and all. When she was filing, she accidentally nicked me with a nail file. She was very apologetic very professional, and told me to let her know if my finger bothered me any further, so I thought that the service was gonna go well. As she was doing a builder gel fill my nails I asked questions about the material she was using because I just wasn’t used to the method or brand. I also pointed out that when she was painting a second coat that there was a dirt under my nail. Her response to me was “ I am not done.” So I gave it some time…also because of her comment about me making her feel uncomfortable I remained silent and listened to a podcast while she did my nails. When I noticed some additional errors like not filing the previous builder gel down enough so that there would be a blend with the fill, I knew she was going have to backtrack her work, I pointed out that there were some corrections that need to be made. She interrupted my comment and told me that I needed to wait until the entire service was done instead of interrupting her to let her know that something wasn’t finished because she is not done with the service. She went on to say that I needed to let her know at the end if there were any issues with my nails, and she would do it the way that I like. I stopped her and then said I’ve been getting my nails done for a very long time, I recognize when we have gone too far and I don’t want to waste my time by waiting only to have to redo everything. She interrupted me several times to let me know that her time was also not to be wasted, and that she doesn’t work that way with a customer pointing out things to her. This is where the conversation got a little bit heated, so I took a deep breath and calmly let her know that as her customer, who is paying for a service, I should be able to let her know when I believe something is not right with my nails so that we don’t have to file all of the work down and then redo the entire service. She then let me know that she was uncomfortable continuing with my service because I would not allow her to continue what she was doing. I let her know that I will be leaving. I let her know that this was the most unprofessional service that I have ever received and I will be leaving a review to reflect my experience today.

catherine was very kind & made conversation with me here and there! she worked relatively fast which was great as i don’t like sitting for long periods of time. she was also flexible with me about pricing which i appreciated greatly! she gave me exactly what i wanted. i will be coming back!

Excelente service! Was definitely a surprise at how everything just flows. I was a little nervous at first seeing only one person with 3 customers however WOW excellent all the way around. Yes it does take a while but the wait is more than worth it!!! Hot towel were a huge HUGE plus! Thank you!

(WORST EXPERIENCE EVER PLEASE GET YOUR NAILS DONE WHERE YOU ARE WANTED) I visited the nail salon recently and had a rather disappointing experience. Upon arriving, I was seated in the pedicure chair next to another customer. The technician immediately asked me if my hair was a wig or weave, to which I replied that it was extensions. This is my first time here by the way. When she finished with the customer and began my treatment, I noticed she didn’t properly sanitize tools or wash her hands . This lack of hygiene made me uncomfortable. After my pedicure, she moved me to the nail table. While I was waiting, I overheard her comment on a group of men outside( barber shop next door) implying they were fighting and labeling them as loud and argumentative. They were just laughing. I found her remarks quite disheartening and felt they reflected a lack of respect for people of color. To add to the unprofessionalism, when it was time to pay, I was required to use her personal Cash App, PayPal, or Venmo, as she does not have a business account. She charges a fee for credit card payments, which made me question whether she's trying to avoid taxes. Overall, the experience left much to be desired, particularly regarding professionalism, hygiene, and respect.

Cathy did a fabulous job with my nails! Beautiful nail art on my toes and fingernails. She took her time and super gentle with my sensitive fingers
