Woodhouse Spa - Mandeville

I have had two deep tissue massages over the past 6 weeks at this location. Both massage therapists were thorough in discussing my previous injuries and goals that I wanted addressed for the massage treatment. The men’s changing area was clean and included a slew of amenities (like a designated locker for belongings) for before and after the massage. The robes, shoes and lavender neck wrap were clean and luxurious. The relaxation room was calm and relaxing. All staff were polite and courteous.

So I normally don’t do Google reviews of spas, but this spa that I just went to called THE WOODHOUSE went above and beyond. my mom has taken me to a lot of resort spas when we went on vacation growing up, so I am a spa snob and walking into the THE WOODHOUSE in Mandeville was a totally different feeling. I used a gift card I got back in march for my birthday and I was 100% worth it. I was greeted by the front desk receptionist who were so kind and checked in super easily. I was escorted back by the manager??. I think her name was Holly? Molly? I looked around the facility and it was so chic and quiet I thought I was the only person in this whole spa building. I was able to give all of my car keys, phone and purse to her assistant that was following behind us. I unfortunately don’t remember her name since no one was wearing name tags but she was so polite and her uniform was so professional I felt like a VIP walking into a medical spa. I got a small tour through the spa. Then I quickly change into my robe and sandals because I was so excited!. After I changed, I went and sat in the waiting room for about 30 minutes with a warm cup of tea, I did show up pretty early and the front desk lady was so accommodating. My mom and I have shown up to hotel spas early before and were told to sit in the front office charges. I felt like I was the only person in the whole building. There was no long line, there was no loud noises there was no evidence that there was another person in this building! which is amazing (The resorts in Mexico that I’ve gone to that are supposed to be five star and you’re waiting in line to wash your hands. I went to the front desk to check out and I saw they had WICKED candles!! I am a huge WICKED fan and I took pictures and sent them to my mom and boyfriend. I demanded they buy them for me for Christmas. SO, if you’re on the fence about going to a day spa. Go to the one in mandeville! They took such great care of me and I felt like a princess. You won’t be disappointed.

The woodhouse spa was an absolute luxury. I had the privilege of having Cat as my masseuse. She was very attentive always asking me if i was doing okay and checking in while she really worked out some tension i had. Definitely an experience i won’t forget and will come back!

I recently had an 80 minute Swedish massage with Chynna and it was lovely. She was so sweet, checked in often, and had strong hands! As someone who doesn’t always want deep tissue, but still wants medium-firm pressure and sometimes extra love in some places, she did a great job at giving me exactly that! I’ve been to Woodhouse before and it’s beautiful spa and really enjoy the relaxation room before/after your service.

Woodhouse is beautiful and Coleen is amazing ! I came in very stressed and left feeling so light and peaceful . Coleen knew exactly what I needed ! See you next week Coleen
